I'm just an ordinary girl who is totally in love with soul music.... music with meaning, music with feelings and a good baseline. I therefore bring to you meticulously selected sounds from a woman's perspective , music that ought to make you tingle and put you in the mood for love. Pure Silk is the brainchild of musical entrepreneur, Anthony Brightly. Fed up with having to break new acts from scratch(building them up slowly, gaining the buying public's confidence only to witness their nonchalance), he created an entity that could break new acts and re-introduce know artists via a recognisable body. To this end, PURE SILK, aka Anthony Brightly was born. Their first single release 'Do You Ever Think About Me' (featuring One Destiny), in 1980, was on of the years best selling reggae singles. Pure Silk went on to feature established artiste like Ken Boothe,Carroll Thompson Tad Hunter, Trevor Hartley, Wendy Walker, Winsome, Winston Reedy to name but a few over four albums and numerous singles. In 1994, Brightly rediscovered Christanity and married his love of the Lord with his music to create the hybrid, Lovers Gospel. After working with a number of soloists he moved on to recording with choirs. The world renowned L.C.G.C(London Community Gospel Choir) were the first into his east London studios. Then Brightly was introduced to the Brixton base Ruach

Radical Dance Faction (R.D.F) were founded by Chris Bowsher in Hungerford in 1986, and were originally known as MILITARY SURPLUS. R.D.F's music combines punk, dub, and ska and the're known for being the legends of the UK free festival scene from back in the day. In the early 1990's the band made a few tours of Germany, one tour was as the support act to the REBEL MC (A.K.A. CONGO NATTY), they also supported ZIGGY MARLEY at one point and appeared at the huge Summerjam Festival in July 1993. Chris Bowsher has been the lead singer from the early days of MILITARY SURPLUS. Steve Swann, (R.I.P. The Dub Warrior) also one of R.D.F's original line-up, co-founded the Revolutionary Dub Warriors and was a member of the reformed, dub, ska band Dub The Earth.
Phil & Ozzy left R.D.F. in 1995, and together with Dan & John (A.O.S.3), went on to form P.A.I.N.
Linda and Graham Spey went on to form the band DF118.
Mark McCarthey joined The Wonder Stuff in 2004.
Murph joined The Rhythmites.

Nowadays R.D.F can been seen playing at many of the major festivals around the U.K. such as Glastonbury & Boomtown as well as the smaller festivals like Solfest, Alchemy, Rogues Picnic & Bearded Theory.
