To launch the label we present an EP entirely composed by Foreign Sequence, the electronic alias of Tonotopy. Two remixes are present, one by Jaquarius already published on his side on the label Newflesh and the other by Mono-Enzyme 307 otherwise known by his alias https://soundcloud.com/monotoxine present on the famous English label https://soundcloud.com/brokntoys .

The aesthetics of this EP is related to the universe electro / idm early 90's by a choice of very precise synthesizer. P6, Sh-101, Tb-303, Tr-808 and to coordinate the whole an RS7000 which comes to rhythm this refusal of modernity. Foreign sequence digs into the techniques of the past to find the answers, he shows his know-how here and uses it to express a multitude of emotions between nostalgia and optimism.

A narrative dive in the theme of the label: "Humans dreaming of mechanical beings".

[PHR01] Foreign Sequence - RS7K EP (w/ Jaquarius & Mono-Enzyme 307 remixes)

The door creaked slightly as it softly cast a spiralling light out into the corridor. The opening finally allowed them all to see what had been lurking in the secret room for so many years. The den of intrigue was filled with towering shelves of books, tall lamps and the greenery of dense thick plants. It looked like a study of sorts but he knew that it was much more than that. It was a room in which wild things happened and in which wild beasts grew, even if they were simply ideas. 

Foreign Sequence is the alter ego of Tonotopy who releases on the newly launched French label Post Human Records. The first EP is a woozy blend of glitchy synths and acid sludge.

PREMIERE: Foreign Sequence - Opening [Post Human Rec]

Post Human France (@PosthumanRec) a new label from Bordeaux, launches with an EP composed by Foreign Sequence (@tonoforeign), the electronic alias of Tonotopy. The package rounded out with two remixes coming from Jaquarius and Mono-Enzyme 307 otherwise known by his alias Monotone known for his releases on English label Brokntoys.

In their own words, the inspiration for the label is "Humans dreaming of mechanical beings” and the aesthetics of this EP certainly follow suit with electro / idm early 90’s vibes using a P6, Sh-101, Tb-303, Tr-808 and a RS7000. Foreign Sequence digs into the techniques of the past to find the answers, showing his know-how and using it to express a multitude of emotions between nostalgia and optimism for the future.
