Three minds meet in different time zones and seek to coalesce for under 3 minutes.  They ended up in the 90s to and found Some Kind of Bliss.

Recorded during Chinese New Year at my in-laws in Ningbo, all I had available to me was a 14 year old laptop with an old version of Sony Acid, an acoustic guitar and not much else. I grabbed a recorder and a harmonica before leaving Hangzhou so I could add a little something extra to arrangements and then just used whatever was lying around for percussion, including a cardboard box and a container of toothpicks. Taking out all the treble on the very basic 3 band DAW EQ and pushing the mids a little thankfully means an acoustic guitar can magically become a bass. I finished mixing the EP in a B&B in the Zhejiang countryside. No plugins on the laptop so no delay, reverb, compression or any of that gubbins.
