In this installment of Sound Advice, we speak to indie electronic producer, DJ and singer-songwriter TEED. After bursting onto the scene with his acclaimed 2012 debut album, ‘Trouble,’ it took him a decade to release a second album — but in that time, the LA-based musician did a lot of DJing, remixes and collaborations, including writing for artists like BANKS, SG Lewis, Mark Ronson, The Blessed Madonna and Nelly Furtado. Fresh off the release of his third album, ‘Always With Me,’ on his own Nice Age label, TEED joins us for an in-depth conversation about his studio practice, how he uses SoundCloud, techniques for getting out of a songwriting rut and much more.
