His follow-up has been greatly anticipated since then, and Warner Bros. has done an incredible job marketing the film to get audiences super interested in what the horror filmmaker has up his sleeve for his latest. Working with an all-star cast that includes Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Cary Christopher, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Benedict Wong & Amy Madigan, the film follows the case of seventeen kids from the same classroom who mysteriously disappear overnight at the exact same time, with their teacher being the main suspect. Interview With "The Penguin" Star Deirdre O'Connell

This song is deeply personal ...it's my story.

I grew up without a father in my home. My mother did everything she could to keep our little world together, but nothing could fill the space his absence left behind. I remember waiting with my bag packed, hoping he'd keep his promises. Sometimes he called and said I could come visit. I believed him every time. But the calls where he canceled, or never showed up at all, happened even more.

This song follows those moments… the hope, the heartbreak, the truth my mother always knew but tried to shield me from. It’s about the years that passed, the chances I tried to give him, and the day everything ended. The day my mother told me, with tears in her eyes, that he was gone.

"The Bag by the Door" is more than a song. It’s a memory. It’s grief. It’s a wound I carry, and a goodbye I never really got. But it’s also for anyone who’s waited for love that never arrived and found the strength to keep going anyway.

The short story is that Scott Morris is an acoustic singer/songwriter that wants to finally share his music with you.

The longer story begins in 4th grade when Scott took up the trumpet. It was fun, but in a family full of musicians that played CSN, The Eagles, and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band - a trumpet did not prove to be very helpful during "fam jams". Enter high school and the guitar era... that's better - now Scott fit in with his own family. In college, at the University of South Florida, Scott moved on to be classically trained in vocal performance under greats like Jerald Reynolds and Robert Summer; singing opera, Baroque music, Italian arias, German art songs, and 20th century works. Scott now has a BA in Music Studies from USF, along with a MA in Human Development from the George Washington University. Scott works in Real Estate, based in the Tampa Bay area.
