this is a special one to me. f# that was made as an opener for my timetravel set at my birthday show -back in september. almost every sound and bass you hear in this track has been resampled or synthesised from the old 2017-2019 primate era.

i wanted to create a track that showcased my modern take on drum&bass, while still including my roots, as a thankyou to everyone who’s been supporting me since day one.

lately i’ve been really trying to experiment and look at how far we can push the boundaries on these “fake drops” and “switches” , and i think we’ve not hit the limit anytime soon. it’s a controversial topic both with people on the forefront and against it, i just think the way our music is evolving is really exciting. so this is a personal f# that to everyone saying drum&bass is dead.

for that reason i also decided to add a little extra spice at the end of the track, just because we can!!

i hope you all like this one as much as i did making it, can’t wait for you to get your hands on it.
