Hello, everyone. As some of you may know, there was an account I gave permission to that was hosting Integrity's soundtrack for a couple of months now. Due to circumstances, I have asked them to delete the account.

Although the songs didn't get a lot of views, they were enough for me to understand that people want these songs on a platform where they can be cycled through alongside other music. Because of this, I'll be re-uploading all the tracks myself on this account. 

I request patience during this process, as I will most certainly have to fight back against the copyright system falsely flagging work that I have the right to post as a representative of the musicians involved. Rest assured this has happened before and I've gotten claims repealed, so I am hoping that within time I will have every track uploaded, including ones the previous archive account could not.

In the meantime, I will once again share the official Google Drive archive of Integrity's sound library. ADDENDUM: Although I have all the tracks on hand, I will be uploading them one at a time to appropriately deal with claims as they come. Mass uploading would make claims far harder to manage.

A Quick Announcement

This is the beginning of the archive. 

Integrity was and still is a project I hold near and dear to my heart. It was far from perfect, but it enabled the growth of so many friends' talents, and strengthened the bond between me and quite a few people. I'll be using these uploads to share some of the work we did together, even if not everything sees the public eye.

The background was a placeholder; it was to be sprited and animated in the final demo version. An average UT menu theme didn't seem like it would suit this style, so I had Drop0ff create a song similar to the Deltarune menu theme. This is honestly still one of my favorite tracks he's ever done, and one of my favorites from this soundtrack. I still listen to it a lot to reminisce.

"Tem Tem" was a little plush doll that Toriel made for Asriel. It was a "mass" produced doll in the underground, known by most as "Talking Temmie" but Toriel, being who she is, made a unique one for Asriel instead of purchasing one. Its defining trait from other Temmie dolls was the black stripe on its shirt.

In terms of the "creepiness" factor, Temmie was going to take light inspiration from infamous Tails Doll imagery. We didn't go as far as adding heavy gore or blood, but we still took after it nonetheless.

Love In Every Stitch

Asgore would stumble out from the Ruins, seeing the player staring at the Tem Tem doll. Tem Tem was essentially playing dead as Asgore picked it up. It would use this opportunity to stalk you through the ruins as Flowey did in Undertale.

Asgore had fled from his role as king after nearly declaring a war due to the death of his son at the hands of humans. Now seemingly considered a traitor to monsterkind, he hid in the ruins, looking after monsters that were secluded alongside him.

Fallen Down Below

The Riverperson would be seen much earlier in Integrity. They frequently brought their boat to and from the Ruins, escorting monsters that sought refuge from the rest of the underground. This character was shown in a couple pieces of official art, seemingly for no reason, but they had a very vital role in the story. I will go more into detail on this role in a later track.

Asgore resided over the refugee monsters, despite it no longer being his responsibility.

Not a whole lot to be said about this main theme, or a bulk of the Ruins. Villata, the city, had its own theme and that upload will have more of a meaningful description.

Ruins

"That old FOOL thinks I am just some ordinary dummy! Little does he know I am a ghost that lives INSIDE a dummy! Foolish. Foolish! FOOLISH! It is you who will have attacks tested on them! Attacks from knives! SHARP ONES!"

Mad Dummy was still going to serve as a tutorial of sorts, but a little bit more of an engaging one. The fight was going to end with the player surrounded by knives as Asgore walked back in to see what was taking so long. In a fearful, sudden reaction, he threw a ball of fire at Mad Dummy, setting it ablaze as it cartoonishly flailed around.

Before anyone asks the question, we had no concrete plans to incorporate Mad Mew Mew. That boss fight released during development and not every team member was on board with trying to fit her in.

The default enemy encounter theme. Not much to say here. It was inspired by Pokemon battle music. There'll be a bit more to say in the next upload.

Enemy Approaching α

Integrity didn't have a legitimate hard mode planned (we had a gag one instead), but we wanted to design and implement hard mode versions of our original encounters. 

In the game, enemies would've been seen wandering the overworld, similar to Deltarune. There was a small chance that when making contact with one of these enemies, their sprite would change, and you would start a fight with a more challenging variant of that enemy. This variant of the battle theme would play instead of the Alpha variant.

It's a shame, I can't seem to find the hard mode designs for our Ruins monsters anymore. I never saved them and I can't find them in my DMs with any of the artists. No clue where they went. If I ever find them, I'll update this description.

ADDENDUM 7/19/2023: I found the references for the hard mode monsters scattered across three different images. Organization was not always my strong suit. Not all of them had names yet, but you should be able to tell what is what based off of the Ruins monsters I shared in the Alpha version.

Enemy Approaching ε

Mettacrit was happy for their cousin, who had quite recently gotten their own, fully functioning body. Alas, they still yearned for stardom in the underground, and no one would give them the time of day without a body. 

Before the fight, you'd overhear Mettacrit on a phone call. Their cousin informed them that the royal scientist, Undyne, would be willing to make them a body. 

Excitement would shift to confusion when they were told the caveat.

A human would need to be brought to them first.

Conveniently, as they turn around, a human was right there! Oh, but they looked just so adorable! They couldn't possibly bring them by force...maybe some not-so-subtle charm would do the trick?

Glitz and Glamour

Villata was an active construction project by many of the refugee monsters that fled to the Ruins in recent years. 

The Ruins were a safe haven, but the broken down brick walls left a lot of monsters depressed and homesick. They got to work constructing a true new home in the center of the Ruins, welcoming all to make themselves at home-- so long as they'd be willing to help in keeping the community happy and safe.

Not much lore to be shared here, but I do have a funny story. This song was technically not made for this project. It was originally uploaded by Jamangar as a standalone Determination replacement. I absolutely loved how it sounded, and felt like it would be a great fit for the project. I reached out to them, and they told me that they actually had the project in mind while making it! It was the start of their contributions to the project. They made some of my favorite songs in the soundtrack and I'm still so glad that this coincidence led to their involvement.

Home (Music Box Ver.)

Asgore in this story, unlike Toriel in Undertale, had no intentions of keeping you from pursuing your freedom. However, he was not ready to let you out into the dangers beyond the Ruins doors without proving that you could handle yourself. 

The monsters of the Ruins were peaceful. He did not know the outside world anymore, and was not about to let a child go unprepared.

To begin your journey, a sparring match of sorts stood in your way.

Preparation

I had this whole goofy little thing planned where the expected Papyrus introduction would instead be Sans in a Papyrus costume. I directly compared it to the King K. Rool Smash reveal.

Sans was a total prankster goofball in the script. He was a little more outgoing and social than in Undertale, but we tried to keep a focus on jokes and a touch of his laziness.

A Bone-afied Fighter!!

Paps just wasn't himself these days. He used to be a brimming beacon of positivity in the community. The kind of guy who'd tell you to never give up no matter how bad things got. Then one day that all just...changed.

Papyrus would have a strong aversion to the player initially. In general, you'd really only see him interact with Sans for his first few appearances. More on his character will come later.

I so, so, SO wish we would've had some drawn concepts for this area, but we don't. Snowdin was going to adapt more of "christmas night" type of aesthetic. A dark blue-ish overlay over all of the sprites, with bright lights strung up on trees to light the path to the village. I always imagined it as very pretty in my head, despite the low resolution and style of the game.

It's only fitting that the track for this area was also beyond gorgeous. This one is a contender for my favorite song in the soundtrack. I still listen to it regularly in my free time.

Snowbound

Me? Forget to upload tracks? Never. 

Sans would confront the player as they tried to leave Snowdin Village. It was dangerous to be outside to begin with due to a magic blizzard, but you were trying to enter Waterfall, a place Sans was instructed to let no living thing into, no matter what.

He'd start off trying not to hurt you, but the longer the fight went on, he'd get a bit more rough with you. Keeping you alive was the number one priority, so shaking you up a bit still fell within that directive.

Gameplay wise, the blizzard was going to create resisting winds that would alter your movement. There'd be a little UI pop-up in the corner telling you the current wind speed and direction. 

It would take a lot of convincing, but after holding your own against him through a raging snowstorm, Sans would eventually back off. Partly because he felt he saw something different in you, but mostly because it was time for his break.

Skeleswindle

After your battle with Sans, the blizzard would suddenly halt. It would be revealed you were being watched by another monster; a colorful jester-type that took a great interest in you. Sans would stand between you and this jester, taking on a more serious tone with him.

The jester claimed he had been waiting for a human like this to come along, and that you were one of the "final steps" to their "grand finale". Sans continued to try and intimidate the jester, but to little prevail.

The jester eventually would disappear in a puff of smoke, leaving Snowdin a calmer place. Sans would explain that this jester was the cause of the blizzard, and that he was one of the biggest reasons for monsterkind's current state of affairs.

He'd leave for his break, offering that if you'd like to tag along for a quick bite to eat, he'd be willing to explain more. You're paying the bill, though.

A Devious Card

Don't have much to say on the goofier side of things here, unfortunately. The silly side of the date was one of many things I never got around to finishing in the rewrite.

As for the serious side...Sans offers to share with you the state of the kingdom, and what you're about to walk into if you keep moving forward. Lore dump incoming!

"WELP, GET COZY! THIS STORY'S A LONG ONE."

He shares that the underground is in the middle of a civil war. 

After Asgore abandoned the kingdom and Toriel became the sole ruler, she made it very clear that any human that were to fall down into their home were to be treated kindly, unless they sought to harm others. She did not believe in using humans who had no quarrel with monsterkind as a stepping stone toward freedom. 

Many monsters disagreed with the Queen's ruling, believing that it would keep them trapped underground forever. They longed to see the sun again and many begged Toriel to reconsider, but she dismissed any attempts to change her mind. 

Eventually, a group of monsters formed; a silent rebellion, plotting to discreetly capture and kill any humans that fell, hostile or not. Their souls would be contained and eventually given to their leader, who would become a god that would save monsters from their mountain prison. 

Five humans were killed before they were caught. A few of the members were apprehended, and the souls were brought to Toriel's chamber. Among those five was a human that Toriel had met herself, an ambitious young child that reminded her of her late Asriel. She broke down upon receiving this news, and the souls reacted to her emotional outburst. They erupted from their glass containers, creating a magical barrier in her chamber, similar to the one that sealed the monsters beneath Mt. Ebott. It seemed the souls were trying to protect her, but...in the long run, it didn't do anyone much good.

The souls scattered afterward. No one knows what happened to them. There's rumors they turned to stone, and that people have found them and are hiding them, but there's nothing concrete to back that up.

The Queen was effectively locked away from her own kingdom, and the rebellion took this as an opportunity to expand uncontested. They became The Nexus, and they've fully taken Hotland as their territory. They've tried to press further into Waterfall and Snowdin, but the remaining guard has refused to let that happen.

What stood in the center of this war was you: the player. The Nexus needs another human, and many monsters are willing to turn you over to them for their own safety. You have a few allies (in Pacifist, at least), but ultimately, this journey would be one with many hostile faces. 



Being able to finally share this aspect of the story is...relieving, in a sense. It's probably not what most were expecting outside of those who had story leaked to them via team members, but it's been a big aspect of the story for a long time. More to come on this stuff in future tracks...does Soundcloud have a description character limit? I sure hope it doesn't.

Sans Date

Waterfall was still a very work-in-progress area at the time of cancellation. The story was going through a rewrite a little bit before we closed up shop and this was an area that I never got around to fully finishing.

Alphys was one of the few remaining members of the guard, a leader through innovation. A technical genius lacking what most would consider required resources, she was constantly crafting new, albeit unorthodox ways of stopping the impending foes from Hotland. 

Although she never allowed herself to show it toward the enemy, she had incredibly shaky confidence. She avoided close quarters combat, and when she had to engage, she wore a helmet that hid her facial expressions entirely. 

Weakness was unacceptable. Too many had already fallen because of her weakness. 

This theme would only play in the Neutral routes. She has no reason or desire to fight against you in Pacifist.

Hey, I opened a CuriousCat.

Hey. I've been silent for a while, when it comes to both Integrity, and my own personal stuff. I've answered things on Curiouscat, but that's been the extent of my interaction with the community for...quite some time.

As I'm sure most of you, if not all of you know, I used to make music. After the events of 2018, I lost a lot of my motivation for it. Since then I've taken care of and made up for a lot of the things I had done wrong, and a few of my friends, namely two in particular, have encouraged me to get back into music again. 

It's been...difficult, to say the least. To go so long without even touching FL Studio for anything but stupid mashups after trashing all of my VSTs. I still often lack the motivation to finish songs. I haven't finished a full piece since I quit. 

In time, I'd like to make music again. I'm not sure when I will, or what I'll make, but this piece right here is something I've been itching to make for a long, long time. It's incomplete for now, and this work in progress has already racked up slight age; December of 2019. I will however, be pushing myself to finish it when I can.

As for the future of this account, it's likely going to remain dead. Should I decide on continuing music, I'll post links to a new account. As for Integrity as a project, I will continue to post devlogs as things are finished, and we decide what should be publicly available. Thank you for your patience over this long period of silence.
