In Deltarune: Switching Suits, Kris and Susie technically keep their roles, in that Kris is the protagonist and Susie is the deuteragonist. However, they swap lives. Susie is the adopted daughter of the Dreemurrs who is known and loved by her classmates, while Kris is the widely feared school outcast.

I had this whole goofy little thing planned where the expected Papyrus introduction would instead be Sans in a Papyrus costume. I directly compared it to the King K. Rool Smash reveal.

Sans was a total prankster goofball in the script. He was a little more outgoing and social than in Undertale, but we tried to keep a focus on jokes and a touch of his laziness.

In this take, the characters change roles, however their personalities and most of their background remain the same, it's just that a series of events occurred that made them occupy that role.

I recently came across the wonderful animation and soundtrack made by ZET for their DELTARUNE Chapter 5 secret boss, Cao Tinh. I really felt like making my own cover of it, which turned out to be quite distinct in it's own right. Consider it my own take on it! I think the main thing I wanted to go for was to have some Japanese inspirations, since Cao Tinh is inspired from kitsunes and Okami. This mainly comes in the form of the koto, shamisen and taiko drums being present. The ZUNpets weren't planned originally, but I guess they also fit the Japanese yokai/Toby Fox theming.
