+-+-+-+-+-+-+-AU INFORMATION+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
ALTERSAGA is a new roleswap AU heavily inspired by "Altertale" pair-swaps aspect: Toriel, Asgore, & Asriel <-> Sans, Papyrus, & Gaster. However, in ALTERSAGA, there is more than just the abovementioned pair-swap. We will talk about this later but for now...

Asriel fills the role of Gaster. He is surprisingly not thrown into the void. However, he is trapped in between two dimensions where he becomes increasingly aware of the existence of our world along with his friends who replace the Gaster's Followers: Noelle, Berdly, Jockington, Catti, and Snowy. How did they get there? The children had a field trip the SOUL where they were going to learn about how the underground source of energy operates and how it thankfully keeps monsters from the extinction. And next? The children fell into a horribly mysterious incident (thank you again, Dr. WINGDING GASTER) that caused them to be thrown out of their original dimension. In any case, Asriel is not forgotten... yet. The memories of their existence in their original world stay intact at first, allowing families to suffer from grief. However, they are slowly fading away as time goes by. It is unfortunate, however, you will be able to talk to each of them if you figure out the game's FUN value to get access to. But that's a "lore" for another day! While being trapped, he often spends his time exploring the entire underground, watching Kris as they set foot on a long journey and taking care of his own grave located in Hometown Graveyard. When he gets close to Toriel or Asgore, they always feel like they are being watched but they can't tell what it is and they are unable to see him from their dimension, unfortunately. Doesn't it hurt to see his parents slowly forgetting everything about him? Even if they try so hard, they end up losing it. But hey, at least they are going to be happy just by being together... right?

I had this whole goofy little thing planned where the expected Papyrus introduction would instead be Sans in a Papyrus costume. I directly compared it to the King K. Rool Smash reveal.

Sans was a total prankster goofball in the script. He was a little more outgoing and social than in Undertale, but we tried to keep a focus on jokes and a touch of his laziness.

I recently came across the wonderful animation and soundtrack made by ZET for their DELTARUNE Chapter 5 secret boss, Cao Tinh. I really felt like making my own cover of it, which turned out to be quite distinct in it's own right. Consider it my own take on it! I think the main thing I wanted to go for was to have some Japanese inspirations, since Cao Tinh is inspired from kitsunes and Okami. This mainly comes in the form of the koto, shamisen and taiko drums being present. The ZUNpets weren't planned originally, but I guess they also fit the Japanese yokai/Toby Fox theming.
