so, john w here. long time no see. honestly hadn't expected to make a return with how long i was gone, but i'm back and surprisingly more creatively driven than i think i've ever been, even NR is back from the dead and undergoing genuine progress that i hope to share some time in the future (watch the music/art block kick in in like a week). but yeah, tl;dr, i have returned and i hope you all enjoy whatever content i shove out.

also i didn't really have a reason to come up with a new username but i think it sounds better than just using my name lol

Based on the Tower of Heaven soundtrack by Flashygoodness.

(This is SUPER old, you can hear that I used the bf soundfont before I found the chromatic scale, and to clarify, the opponents voice is the chiptune lead lol)

For some context, around early 2021 to around late 2022 I made several songs either inspired by FNF or for hypothetical mods, mostly since the fan work for the game was really inspiring to see. I never really had an interest in doing work for a mod unless it was something I genuinely liked or as favor for friends, which is why i've only done work for two (well, technically only one now)

As for this song in particular, I imagined it as the first song of a week against Eid, the playable character from Tower of Heaven (which has super cool music that you guys should check out!!). It's super scuffed since I made this around april of 2021, which was a bit before I started to download more VST's and plugins that weren't SGM (not that it's bad by any means, heck I still use it plenty), but I decided not to touch it up since it still holds up enough. 

If there's an interest then I'll probably post more fnf music since I happened to make quite a few, unfinished or otherwise. I'd rather they not collect dust in my drive honestly haha. Going forward, you'll probably see my name in the credits of at least one mod but that's as much as I'll say ;;u_u

This song plays during Noelle (who is called Z03113 whilst brainwashed by Queen) scenes, so it would technically replace “Lancer”.

Deltarune: Flipped Dreams is a unique take on a Chapterswap AU. Rather than just swapping characters, they are shifted around so the roles are more vast and unexpected. Definitely not your typical “Chapterswap” take, that’s for sure!

Finally, the first one of Kris’s friends found! I wonder where the other two could be? Anyhow, normally Noelle is shy, as usual. She isn’t as helpless as her Deltarune equivalent as her family is all healthy and well, and Dess isn’t missing either. However, when brainwashed, she’s just as goofy as Queen, getting into wild antics with the heroes and having that same egotistical view on herself. How to make Z03113 un-brainwashed, though…?

[Deltarune AU — Flipped Dreams] Z03113

This is the beginning of the archive. 

Integrity was and still is a project I hold near and dear to my heart. It was far from perfect, but it enabled the growth of so many friends' talents, and strengthened the bond between me and quite a few people. I'll be using these uploads to share some of the work we did together, even if not everything sees the public eye.

The background was a placeholder; it was to be sprited and animated in the final demo version. An average UT menu theme didn't seem like it would suit this style, so I had Drop0ff create a song similar to the Deltarune menu theme. This is honestly still one of my favorite tracks he's ever done, and one of my favorites from this soundtrack. I still listen to it a lot to reminisce.

"Tem Tem" was a little plush doll that Toriel made for Asriel. It was a "mass" produced doll in the underground, known by most as "Talking Temmie" but Toriel, being who she is, made a unique one for Asriel instead of purchasing one. Its defining trait from other Temmie dolls was the black stripe on its shirt.

In terms of the "creepiness" factor, Temmie was going to take light inspiration from infamous Tails Doll imagery. We didn't go as far as adding heavy gore or blood, but we still took after it nonetheless.

Asgore would stumble out from the Ruins, seeing the player staring at the Tem Tem doll. Tem Tem was essentially playing dead as Asgore picked it up. It would use this opportunity to stalk you through the ruins as Flowey did in Undertale.

Asgore had fled from his role as king after nearly declaring a war due to the death of his son at the hands of humans. Now seemingly considered a traitor to monsterkind, he hid in the ruins, looking after monsters that were secluded alongside him.

Fallen Down Below

The Riverperson would be seen much earlier in Integrity. They frequently brought their boat to and from the Ruins, escorting monsters that sought refuge from the rest of the underground. This character was shown in a couple pieces of official art, seemingly for no reason, but they had a very vital role in the story. I will go more into detail on this role in a later track.

Asgore resided over the refugee monsters, despite it no longer being his responsibility.

Not a whole lot to be said about this main theme, or a bulk of the Ruins. Villata, the city, had its own theme and that upload will have more of a meaningful description.

The default enemy encounter theme. Not much to say here. It was inspired by Pokemon battle music. There'll be a bit more to say in the next upload.

Enemy Approaching α

Integrity didn't have a legitimate hard mode planned (we had a gag one instead), but we wanted to design and implement hard mode versions of our original encounters. 

In the game, enemies would've been seen wandering the overworld, similar to Deltarune. There was a small chance that when making contact with one of these enemies, their sprite would change, and you would start a fight with a more challenging variant of that enemy. This variant of the battle theme would play instead of the Alpha variant.

It's a shame, I can't seem to find the hard mode designs for our Ruins monsters anymore. I never saved them and I can't find them in my DMs with any of the artists. No clue where they went. If I ever find them, I'll update this description.

ADDENDUM 7/19/2023: I found the references for the hard mode monsters scattered across three different images. Organization was not always my strong suit. Not all of them had names yet, but you should be able to tell what is what based off of the Ruins monsters I shared in the Alpha version.
