[HorrorRune - Chapter 1 OST] The Espionage

"That old FOOL thinks I am just some ordinary dummy! Little does he know I am a ghost that lives INSIDE a dummy! Foolish. Foolish! FOOLISH! It is you who will have attacks tested on them! Attacks from knives! SHARP ONES!"

Mad Dummy was still going to serve as a tutorial of sorts, but a little bit more of an engaging one. The fight was going to end with the player surrounded by knives as Asgore walked back in to see what was taking so long. In a fearful, sudden reaction, he threw a ball of fire at Mad Dummy, setting it ablaze as it cartoonishly flailed around.

Before anyone asks the question, we had no concrete plans to incorporate Mad Mew Mew. That boss fight released during development and not every team member was on board with trying to fit her in.

Rooter's Ranch was an old western show about a rancher protecting his land from a bandit gang. It went on for only 2 seasons, and it's finale was never aired. Its lead actor, who played the titular Rooter, tried to act in other genres of film, but never reached as big of an audience as he did in the old westerns. The show and all it's history was slowly shoved to the side as a new era of televised entertainment began to take shape.
Well, that's how Cowboy Shows go, I guess...
The producers, musicians, and writers all packed their bags and left, but Rooter wasn't happy with that. In desperation, he made a deal with a mysterious person that no matter what, he would get his final episode. Rooter could physically no longer die until the show was finished, and stuck in an immortal cycle of longing and let-downs, he snapped.
Still, the determined Rooter clings onto the old film set, just waiting to get enough people to film his ending, and finally let him rest in piece.
While channel surfing, Kris and Susie wind up alone in a desolate wasteland, minus a small western ranch house with cardboard animals and fake scenery. Inside the house, Susie hears a man rambling and yelling nonsense, and despite her refusal, they go inside, where an estatic Rooter gives them a checklist of things he needs to start filming.

Rooter's boss fight uses the green soul+shield. Using the soul ability will parry larger bullets and ricochet them back. Rooter's main attack is a gun that fires blockable bullets, but he can also use many types of western themed props and scenery to attack the player.

Rooter's light world form is one of the flowers in Toriel's trash can.

This is an Undertale AU Concept that based on a very well known Alternative Universe called Storyshift which was created and claimed by "Voltra". This specific AU typically does represent the original character roster from Storyshift but only to be set in a futuristic fantasy with more character design variations and "different" stories, plots and lores. The name of this AU comes from the idea of Undertale itself, returns to a complete alteration and changes, stated as "RE: Turned", in the way of having the main casts' roles scrambled around (places and locations included).
