Amateur de musique électronique depuis l’adolescence, Fly s’offre ses premiers disques et ses MK2 au milieu des années 2000. Concentré sur la Techno de Jeff Mills, de Laurent Garnier ou encore d’Umek, c’est avec la rencontre de Slamooh qu’il diversifie ses écoutes et découvre entre autre l’abstract hiphop de Ninja Tune via Bonobo ou Amon Tobin… La révolution aura été l’acquisition du Serato qui lui a permis de mélanger tout ce qu'il ne faisait qu'écouter auparavant… La profusion de sons dont regorge Internet lui permet d'extraire des perles méconnues du public et de les introduire avec certains classiques Downtempo des maîtres en la matière, dans une séries de sets qu'il propose en téléchargement gratuit depuis 2011 via soundcloud sous le pompeux pseudo d'Abstract Softness... En 2012, il s’allie avec Slamooh pour former le duo CALM&Kind. Une obsession : arranger « à 4 mains » leurs trouvailles musicales, avant tout pour les oreilles, pas seulement pour les jambes.
