The label freshly celebrated its 2nd birthday and label head & ambassador Dairmount selected already the 5th episode of his acclaimed Perspectives serie. Always proposing brand new exclusive tracks with a serious flair of freshness, this episode is not disappointing.

Strong of his recent remixes for Fred Everything's Lazy Days & The Revenge's Instrument Of Rapture, Art Of Tones is featured here with "Too Much", a track that became already a prime favorite of people as diverse as Dj Sneak, Jimpster, Joey Negro or Kink. Dairmount invited also his Bay Area friend alland Byallo to join the dance. The US producer, today relocated in Berlin & reknown for his work on Pokerflat, Dirt Crew, Liebe Detail or his own Nighlight Music, contributed with a smasher called Stern Soul, a straight forward peaktime soul infused rocker.

A little jump in time broring us then in 97 with Know Things, this Jeff Sharel track included here. This track has been released 14 years ago quite confidentially and has remained in the box of Dairmount since then, This brought him to wish to introduce it to a much larger audiance more than a decade later.One of the most underrated producers of the French Touch era is also showing here how solid this could stand beside early prods of La Funk Mob or Pepe Bradock.

In one rebound, Dairmount travelled to derby in UK to introduce the talent of Christo who signed here a beatiful hybrid detroit influenced Afrotech tune with New Jazzno. Keep an eye on his classy Superficially Deep imprint! 
And finally, the Ep closes with an original new rendition of the Dairmount & berardi's classic Bass-ment Tale by the mighty Audio Soul Project, creator of the chicagoan Fresh Meat and known for his work on NRK.

Time is running. Nothing reveals that ugly truth better than upcoming anniversaries. It still feels like just a couple of years ago, that we started this label, but surely we all know how much we can trust these kinds of feelings. No friends, it’s been 15 years, a whole lotta more than an average marriage these days.

Well, we can’t change that, so just put the shock aside and do what we are doing right now: Turn on your stereo, get into the sound and celebrate 15 Golden Years of Moonbootique Rec. releases with us. We asked label artist and long time companion Ante Perry to create two mixes for us: One from the vault of time and one with recent releases. This compilation is the outcome and we are more than happy with it!

On CD1, Ante Perry takes us way back into the past to the beginning of his own artist career with tracks like „Beachpower“ or "Human You“, but also the great works of artists as Stereofunk (nowadays better known as PurpleDiscoMachine), Bodymovin or Moston & Malente (running their own label NoBrainer besides releasing on various labels like Katermukke, and others). Of course we also find some classic MOONBOOTICA material here and even a rare KoweSix remix. We must truly say, we almost forgot some of these cuts and were flushed with warm feelings and memories of a time, when electro was on the rise and things seemed to be less complicated then today.

CD2 deals with brandnew (Ante Perry’s exclusive track "The Axis Of Awesome"), new (2015 – 2016) and recent (2014) releases. 
After focusing on MOONBOOTICA for a couple of years, we decided to concentrate on the label again sometime around 2014. 
Finding fresh artists and giving the label a new face was something very personal for us and with the likes of Curry & Krawall, FromDropTillDawn, Valentina Black & Less Hate, Julian Wassermann or Township Rebellion, we sure have gathered some truly gifted and inspiring artists. Ante Perry himself will put out a new EP on our fine label simultaneously to this Mix Compilation and this will just be the start off for the next 15 Golden Years of Moonbootique Records!

The journey has just begun…

Music means everything to Jules and after a chat about the many layers of his career, he reveals more than a few surprises. From his past DJ exploits playing on a desert island in Malaysia, a Chinese temple for NYE or, closer to home at Dalston's bustling Superstore.

He possesses a unique energy which fills his long white walled studio in Brick Lane, enthusing about the artists he’s collaborated with, like techno pioneer Russ Gabriel on 'The Return EP'. He's most at home among LED lights, flickering buttons and pulsing switches, while drum machines and sequencers roll effortlessly into action to reveal new tracks.

After a spell running the label Abstrakt Dance with techno kingpin Colin Dale, Jules is now focussing on his Abstract Source sound. From the lush house of ‘Day to Night’ on Chicago’s Large Records to the gyrating drum & bass of ‘Tell Me’ on London’s V Recordings.

His music has found its way into some esteemed places: Peter Gabriel's Cue Songs have picked up the rights to his catalogue while Finlay Cowan (Pink Floyd Illustrator) has commissioned him to soundtrack a new project, the intriguing 'Subway Slim'.

Jules is currently developing a music therapy project aptly named DMT (Digital Music Therapy) which stems from a recent bout of insomnia. He has already delivered sound workshops to over 200 people and an album is on its way.
