Noir, Lomez, Atnarko - Lost Again ft Symbol - Noir Music

Magic sometimes happens with the wonders of the internet and digital age of the music industry. ‘Lost Again’ is a great example of just that.
The project started in Baltimore by Lomez and the singer Symbol. They then travelled to Florida to get the touch of Atnarko and ended up in Noir's hands (and studio) in Denmark before the beautiful song reached its end result.
 
‘Lost Again’ is an instant charmer thanks to an intro sprinkled with magical chime sounds before beautifully unfolding into a cut that has so many expertly intertwined layers - evidence of the trio’s collaborative production prowess. A pulsing futuristic bass takes charge whilst the voice of Symbol gives the production extra character as it’s melodically cast over full-bodied synths. The package also comes with a ‘Raw Club Cut’ aimed for the tech house floors which is noticeable courtesy of a prominent increase in percussive weight and the distortion of vocals.
 
On remix duties is British producer James Welsh whose thunderous bassline provides a dark and decadent flavour capable of injecting vigour into the stalest of dance floor environments. Meanwhile Patrick Chardronnet demonstrates what Berlin has to offer with a deeper 303 led techno journey in comparison which features a marriage of Symbol’s vocals and ambient heartfelt synths which together juxtapose nicely to lull you into a subterranean groove.

After exploring spiritual depths and igniting cosmic flames, Flight of the Navigator now slips into a new corridor of the electronic multiverse with its third engagement: ‘Secret Keeper,’ a collaborative release from Inámo and Argentinian up and coming youngster, Ramiro Rossotti. Completing the constellation is a fierce remix from none other than Cipy, known for his enigmatic dancefloor alchemy.

Inámo’s Mix begins the voyage deep inside a pulsar — a trippy, stripped-back, hypnotic melodic techno interpretation. Ghostlike vocal fragments float in and out like coded transmissions, while a rolling undercurrent of tension builds. This is a navigator’s cut — designed for late-night space stations and introspective dancefloors, where gravity feels optional and reality bends in the fog.

Ramiro Rossotti steps forward with a more emotional offering, embracing the vocal's storytelling potential. Here, percussion blooms into texture while melodic threads shimmer across the mix like a nebula unfolding. It’s more grounded, yet equally celestial — designed for open skies and glowing faces at peak dusk.

Cipy takes the wheel and fires the track through a wormhole. The result? A glitchy, mind-bending techno-house hybrid laced with vocal FX that shimmer, twist, and combust. The dancefloor doesn’t walk away the same. It’s body music for black holes — dangerous, dazzling, and utterly addictive.

‘Secret Keeper’ marks a new point of resonance on Flight of the Navigator’s journey — where deep introspection meets collective release, and each version of the track reveals a different side of the sonic artifact. As always, the label continues its zigzag through the multidimensional map of electronic dance music, pausing only to decode new truths.

Welcome to the third instalment from Colin Dale and Jules Dickens’ Abstrakt Dance imprint, which was launched last summer. Jules Dickens’ ‘The Return EP’ featuring a remix by Russ Gabriel follows on from a great start to the label that has already seen EPs from Colin Dale and Sir Lord Commix.

Jules Dickens, renowned for his production work as Abstract Source, is a London based DJ and producer, as well as a studio owner and teacher. So, quite the busy man! But here, he takes time out from this hectic schedule to present his first release for Abstrakt Dance.

‘The Return EP’ opens with the deepness of ‘Another Place’ where a smooth groove meets washes of synth work and cool, housey beats. The Detroit-esque piano of ‘The Return’ follows on with its thumping bassline under layers of claps, cymbals and dappled electronics, before the melancholy melodies and acid-tinged effect of ‘Analog Soul’, the last of Jules’ original three workings takes hold.

The release ends in a flourish from Techno heavyweight Russ Gabriel who (for anyone who’s been in a coma since the 90s!) has had releases on Planet-E, Peacefrog, Soma and his own highly respected Ferox label amongst others, with more recent outings on the likes of Mobilee and Pokerflat to his name. His characteristic remix on ‘Analog Soul’ ends this quality EP in fine style, proving why this influential artist is still in such high demand.

Music means everything to Jules and after a chat about the many layers of his career, he reveals more than a few surprises. From his past DJ exploits playing on a desert island in Malaysia, a Chinese temple for NYE or, closer to home at Dalston's bustling Superstore.

He possesses a unique energy which fills his long white walled studio in Brick Lane, enthusing about the artists he’s collaborated with, like techno pioneer Russ Gabriel on 'The Return EP'. He's most at home among LED lights, flickering buttons and pulsing switches, while drum machines and sequencers roll effortlessly into action to reveal new tracks.

After a spell running the label Abstrakt Dance with techno kingpin Colin Dale, Jules is now focussing on his Abstract Source sound. From the lush house of ‘Day to Night’ on Chicago’s Large Records to the gyrating drum & bass of ‘Tell Me’ on London’s V Recordings.

His music has found its way into some esteemed places: Peter Gabriel's Cue Songs have picked up the rights to his catalogue while Finlay Cowan (Pink Floyd Illustrator) has commissioned him to soundtrack a new project, the intriguing 'Subway Slim'.

Jules is currently developing a music therapy project aptly named DMT (Digital Music Therapy) which stems from a recent bout of insomnia. He has already delivered sound workshops to over 200 people and an album is on its way.
