Active for nearly three decades, Japanese DJ and producer Takaaki Itoh has been carving out a niche truly his own in the realm of deep techno. Pumping out multi-sensory DJ tools for breakfast, Itoh champions a sound highly dynamic yet infused with the kind of minute textural work and layers of modular complexity one can not but marvel at. Punching in with a wild two hours of electro-magnetic hardware funk and entrancingly immersive brainwaves, the Sendai-based wizard elevates us to a whole new world where hi-tech submersion and atmospheric club music reign supreme. "November 2022 was the first time I'd ever played at De School and I remember the energy was extremely high as Claudio PRC was building the room into a frenzy, so I was pretty nervous to take over and do the closing. Luckily things felt very comfortable from the first beat and time just flew by - what a night. I was also very happy to play longer than planned!"

One-Hundred-Thirty-Third Hate​ exclusive podcast with Möd4rn (Möd3rn​) "Hardware Live", recorded at Rex Club​, Paris on May 17th 2019.

Möd3rn is the alliance between two experienced french producers, Electric Rescue (best known as head master of french techno label Skryptöm records) and Maxime Dangles (sound wizard and former pillar of Kompakt records ), and two uprising french talents Moteka (the skillful producer from Skryptöm and Children of Tomorrow records) and : Kmyle (who distinguished himself with his acclaimed releases on Skryptöm and Clergy). 

The four expert producers merge into a unique entity, with techno music as their only goal. The common musical passion leads the group, where individual personalities are shadowed by the resulting ethereal and synthetic aesthetic. 

There are no rules, and the whole project lies on improvisation, where each member’s sounds - subtle keys, cosmic drones, subterranean rumbles and rhythmical bursts - blend into a devastating maelstrom, combining Paris multiple underground influences with last decade’s best avant-garde cacophonies.

The obtained result is irresistible, ecstatic and contemporary, and explores all of techno’s incredible diversity and dynamism. 

Fate has brought the four partners together to celebrate their mutual friendship by improvising as a unique polymorphic creature powered by the urge to dance and the passion for music, resulting in their eponym label’s releases. 

Mod3rn is currently celebrating their 10th release : "Trabeos10 EP" and offer today 1h30 of live recording from their latest session at Rex Club, Paris on May 17th 2019.

Abstract Division is a long-standing collaboration of Paul Boex and Dave Miller, a Dutch electronic music producer and DJ duo. Next to running their label Dynamic Reflection and its sub-label Morphologies, they stimulated the Dutch underground scene with their well-known DECODE parties.

With over 30 years of collective experience under their belt, the established duo of Abstract Division is bringing deep, hypnotic and energetic techno sets to any club, rave or festival. They have performed at prominent festivals like Awakenings, Monegros Desert Festival, Time Warp, BAUM Festival, Audioriver, Loveland and some of the best venues including Berghain, Fuse, Fabrik Madrid, RSO, Radion and many more.

During many years of collaboration, the duo managed to create their own unique sound. Their in-depth knowledge of sound engineering enables them to release year after year refreshing productions and each new track marks a subtle evolution in sound.
