His productions and sets are characterized by having strong industrial techno influences and a very dynamic-aggressive aesthetic. X-Alox is also part of Hioll's Cuban based Abstraction label on which he released most of his tracks yet!

This iconic event started in 1998 with only 150 ravers and reached 30.000 by 2010. Rotilla Festival became the voice of a new generation in the country.

Djoy has shared stage and decks with names like Jeff Mills, DJ Koze, Little Louie Vega, Danny Tenaglia, Ricardo Villalobos, Ellen Alien, among others.
