German duo Obscure Shape & SHDW drop three robust Techno tracks in their first full release on Rekids this May.

One of the most exciting acts in Techno today, Obscure Shape & SHDW are the founders of From Another Mind - the label and party series making waves in South-Germany. Aside from Rekids, where they remixed Radio Slave’s ‘Vision’ last year, the pair’s abilities in the studio have seen them invited by Slam for two separate remixes of Monoloc and Envoy on Soma, with more projects to be announced.

‘Himmel Und Erde’ is a cavernous cut boasting colossal kicks and skipping percussion before a tantalising melody comes into play. ‘Am Ende Der Welt’ is more deep and atmospheric in comparison, blending dusky percussion with echoing synths until ‘Gefallene Engel’ demonstrates syncopated drums and an otherworldly hook that conjure up a mesmerising aesthetic to conclude the release.

Release Info:

Eleonora began with music in the age of five having piano lessons in a small classical music school in Russia. In the age of 15, she came down with double leukemia, for which reason she had to move to Berlin for the last hope to survive. Under the sad circumstances, however, she realized her only goal: Music is life and faith is obligatory. After a successful cure, she immediately moved forward to catch her dreams. Beside several jazz projects, Eleonora mainly found herself in trip hop and experimental indie-electro music. Her courage to play with sound and her own vocals makes her music extraordinary and positively surprising for every ear.
With You Here Is a set of emotions that will accompany us on a path made of harmonic lines, guitars, and a vocal that also illuminates our darker corner. To close this original track already perfect to him, Javier Orduna, Andrea Crestani and Vlad Jet think.
We never tried to find something that liked to the dancefloor but we always tried to find something that touched our heart...

Now, he's back at it with a remix of singer and producer Monolink's single off his upcoming album, 'Sirens'.

Baumel allows Monolink's slinky vocals to shine across a tantalizing, yet dissonant techno soundscape that fits perfectly into his growing, slow-burning repertoire. We welcome Keji Itan, the youngest artist on the label. With just twenty years old he is one of the best techno producers in Cuba. For his debut he brings four tracks that immerse us in a world of distant sounds and melodies with repetitive and highly contagious patterns. "Space Time" introduces an eternal journey of euphoria and auditory pleasure, "Arrest Warrant" presents a sticky harmony and very dynamic percussions, "Moon" is the quietest song of the four but with a very powerful bass and finally "B15" proposes an aggressive and rapid cadence, being the rave part of this release. There is no doubt that this is a very solid pack for the fifth reference of Abstraction.
