Chicago drum and bass selector since ‘96. Co-founder of BassByThePound. Working in that bass heavy space between 87 and 174 BPM with hiphop, dancehall + dub influence. Produce the West Fest Dj Stage, The Seminar and other classic parties plus the occasional one-off event in 2023.

Chris Widman is a Chicago DJ that defies easy classification. Host of the weekly radio program Abstract Science (since 1997 and a DJ since 1995), he is at the forefront of breaking new styles, crossing genres and re-introducing forgotten music. Whether DJing for the dancefloor or the armchair, Widman is known for his adventurous mixing of dubstep, techno and everything else, creating his own form of crowd-pleasing sonic warfare.

E-Tik hails from the suburbs of Chicago. Always listening to a wide variety of music, he fell in love with the sounds of the UK bass scene in college, and fell into DJing shortly afterward. E-Tik started playing dubstep and grime but quickly branched out into UK garage, broken techno, and jungle. He got his start going back to back with FoleyDub on Sub.FM, which led to him taking up his own monthly residency on the station beginning in 2020. He has opened for the likes of Mungos HiFi, J:Kenzo, and others, focused on low frequency, meditative sounds across BPM and genre.
