"The vision + photo of a winter sunset on Lake Michigan became the starting point. From there, the mix evolved into three movements that were influenced by the Metro/Smartbar "23 Hour Party People" chill room sets through which I first got to know Hi-Vis. Even though it is intended for deep listening, it sounds best at high volume with proper bass."

CHRIS WIDMAN + MR. JOSHUA of ABSTRACT SCIENCE radio follow the JEFF MILLS + TONY ALLEN live show upstairs in METRO with an extended DJ set in SMART BAR. WIDMAN begins with eclectic selections for the first 50 minutes (while ALLEN + MILLS were still playing upstairs), followed by a 2.5 hour back-to-back session with MR.JOSHUA that gradually builds in tempo + energy, touching on house, techno, broken beat, breaks, electro + african influences. für viele Münsteraner vermutlich noch ein unbekanntes Gesicht, kommt der House Produzent und DJ immerhin aus’m 50km entfernten Osnabrück angeschippert. Nichtsdestotrotz passt der gebürtige Frankfurter mit seinem Gemische von Disco bis House über Acid bis zu Techno wunderbar in das maritime Manöver-Milieu. Dabei steht die gudde Laune und das ausgelassene Tanzen immer im Vordergrund. Freut euch also auf ein feucht-fröhliches Fest, ihr Fischköppe.
