Nurtured by the legendary JOCELYN BROWN, IMAANI’s talent was soon discovered with cousins CARLEEN & JHELISA ANDERSON & TALKIN LOUD’s URBAN SPECIES all taking her on tour.

British Soul Institution INCOGNITO was IMAANI’s next port of call as she became a permanent fixture on their perpetual live show and on numerous albums.

Another highlight and in her own words ‘the biggest night of my life’ saw IMAANI perform to well over 100 million people and finish second in the 1998 EUROVISION SONG CONTEST. 

Moving into the dance world, IMAANI teamed up with COPYRIGHT, delivering the anthems ‘WIZEMAN’, ‘BRING ME LOVE’ & ‘NOBODY’, all on DEFECTED RECORDS.

In the last 3 years another blossoming partnership has been that of  IMAANI & THE LAYABOUTS, firstly through the boys remix of her single ‘FOUND MY LIGHT’ and latterly with ‘FEARLESS’ & ‘TOO LATE’ both songs featuring on the album FUTURE RETRO.

2013 will see the release of IMAANI’s debut solo album.

ABwalk, a duo formed by two Pretoria based music heads/friends, Lebzito (Lebogang Nkwana) and Frana (Frans Mogale). The two, also known as Soldiers of House met in 2002 through mutual friends that had a common sense of music. Like most other DJs/Producers, they both started as Backroom DJ’s and beat makers before they got to the real club scene. They worked individually while they acquired experience on music making and learnt a lot from each other. Later in 2005 they decided to put together what they’ve been working on as individuals into one 12 Track demo compilation that they distributed amongst peers and local house music consumers just to get people’s views on their musical Journey, The birth of “Soldiers of House”. Positive Response is what the duo got out of the compilation and it sure kept them inspired to make more music.
In 2008 a music label called Soldiers of House Entertainment was established by the duo and at that time the focus of the label was on event Management and Studio Sessions. Early 2009 they entered a Jazzanova remix competition which was hosted by an online Mag M.I.O and they managed to come second. Many will say that was their break in the house music industry.

Late 2009 the duo got together in studio for their first ever track together, a hit track titled “She’s A Horse” was born, and it was aired for the 1st time on the biggest house music show in South Africa (The Urban Beat on Metro FM) hosted by DJ’s At Work. The track and few other tracks were featured in their digital Album (It’s Personal) which was released November 2010 under FAADA on all major online stores. Ever since they’ve been getting recognition from international house cats such as Halo, Christos, Vinni Da Vinci, Manoo, Andreas Saag, Stephan Reigman, Lars Behrenroth, Paris Cesvette, Dermakus Lewis to name a few...

Now they bring you a brand new tune on Deeptone Recordings that portrays their maturity and growth in their musical journey. Enjoy!

Pretoria based duo formed by to music veterans, Lebogang 'Lebzito’ Nkwana and Franz ‘Frana’ Mogale. The two, also known as SOLDIERS OF HOUSE met in 2002 through local mutual friends that had a common sense of music. In 2005 they put together their solo projects into a 12 Track demo compilation that they distributed among peers and local house music consumers for reviews on their musical experiences & experiments where the name “Soldiers of House” was eventually suggested. They received positive reviews for the compilation which kind of steered the duo in the right direction within the harsh music industry.

They had a go at Jazzanova's “Lie" remix competition in 2009 which was hosted by an online Magazine [Music Industry Online] where they firmly grabbed second place and their remix being Jazzanova’s favourite, they saw the remix being released on Jazzanova's  "Up Side Down" Album early 2012 under Sonar Kollektive.

Late 2009 they duo got together in studio for their first ever song together titled “She’s A Horse” which was aired on one of then the biggest house music show in South Africa hosted by DJ’s At Work and was very well received by the masses on the underground scene. The track and a few other tracks were featured in their digital Album (Personal) which was released November 2010 on all major online stores. That has seen the duo being mentored by the industry’s music giants both local and international. They have since worked on numerous remixes and few other projects with different musicians in different genres of music.

The duo’s music has been featured in compilations from Peng Afrika, House Afrika, Soul Candi, Next Dimension, Rinse FM, Melt 2000 to name but a few. They have singles and remixes on different labels such as Foliage Records, Sub Sensual, Peng, Jack 2 Jazz, Deeptone Recordings, 0152 Records also to name but a few.
