Nice People focuses on the portrait of an experience of isolation, in which the individual dissolves from external reality to escape a society perceived as sick, a society that limits his ideas, passions, and personal freedom. The inner journey thus becomes an exploration of unexplored territories, a path that reveals deep layers of the self, touching the darkest and most complex regions of the human being.

The tracks on the album are configured as distinctive stages of this journey, guiding the listener through a wide range of emotions, from the initial stages of fear, through anger, up to the sadness fueled by the awareness that, in the end, the individual is also intrinsically linked to the same society from which he tries to escape.
“Nice People” is an engaging musical work, a compelling sound narrative that reflects the internal conflict and ambivalence of the human being in the face of his world.

Born in Brescia, a small town between Milan and Venice, Matteo Gamba didn’t grow up in a music-oriented family, nor surrounded by music inputs. Despite this, he showed interest in musical instruments and equipment at a very young age. At the age of 20, he was fascinated by the club environment and, therefore by club music. Clearly, the attraction to electronic music production is a natural consequence. With his first releases, Matteo earns the respect of many Italian professional DJs, who support his music worldwide. In 2014 he moved to Berlin and started immediately to organize his parties and showcases of his label, Theatre Records. After performing in many European countries in 2020 he founded, alongside Franz Alice Stern, Moon Leap, and Straahl, his new label ABYOND, on which he’s releasing electronic music at 360°, regardless of the genre. Matteo loves to create a wide range of genres, so he has released his music under different names, such as BEIN (techno project) and Groovebox Industry (his very first artist name).
