Wolf’d is the project of Oliver Wolf, a Chicago based producer whose roots in music go back 20 years to his start in music as vocalist and violinist. He has been DJ’ing for 13 of those years. Over the past five years, Wolf’d has brought his life and musical experience together composing electronic music. He has harnessed the essence of soundsystem music while bringing his own unique gruff style to the table.

Wolf’d came into his own in 2024, and he had the opportunity to play in Denver, Austin, Minneapolis, Omaha, Milwaukee, New York, Green Bay, Peoria and Chicago, to name a few cities. Wolf’d has had the pleasure of opening for artists such as Ternion Sound, Alix Perez, The Widdler, DMVU, Visages, Monty, Pushloop, Glume & Phossa, and the Innamind Recordings crew. So far, he has released on Drama Club, Deep Dark and Dangerous, Next Level, Wheel & Deal, Street Ritual, Dank N Dirty Dubz, Prime Audio, Aspire Higher, and The Widdfam, and has been supported by the Deep Tempo podcast, Ternion Sound, Khiva, Truth, The Widdler, Wraz, Substance and a number of other touring DJ’s.

This program’s mission is to create a space for artists to tell their story. The BASSment has been a place for so many artists to feel free to play music they may not normally get to play out. During the interview segment the guest artist will get to talk about where they have come from, things they are working on and where they would like to see themselves going in the future. There will also be a Q & A segment led by questions submitted by listeners and followers of the channel.

Its that time, NAZA once again delivering a serious selection of tunes, digging in those crates and pulling out the bassweight required for the next KeepDeep mixtape, Volume 47. Each and everytime featuring current and forthcoming releases from some of our favourite artists and labels, blending Dubplates, Exclusives and a range of other tracks sourced from all over the internet. Selecting anything around 140 bpm (and sometimes 105 bpm), the purpose of this mix series is to help promote the music we love from emerging producers to ‘household’ names in Dubstep who work passionately to create these earth shattering tunes. Tremendous work by badmon DTR on this LP through INSTiGATE Recordings. His production is truly next level and we absolutely love his work time and time again. 

INSTiGATE - 

We head into our 10th release on Instigate Recordings with something of a landmark occasion for the label, our first full length album from none other than Taiwan’s own DTR. Returning to the label with a more polished collection of tunes created from a newly dubbed out mindset, David Roesler is turning heads within the Dubstep community with the Vibes Machine LP. Mastered by Henry at Dub Studio we’ve pulled out all the stops to get this one out in it’s greatest possible form as we tread these new territories for both label and artist.

Our release schedule in 2016 focusses on quality rather than quantity in an effort to bring a more refined sound to the table. DTR’s ‘Vibes Machine’ makes no exception to this with a true offering of sound system music combining a solid formulation of melodic dub instrumentation and rhythmic sub pressure. The LP’s focal point is mostly half time 140 as you would expect but in it’s entirety the record spans 120 to 170 beats-per-minute. Summoning a collaborative effort from like-minded UK based rising star Khanum on the track ‘Creator Dub’ and remix duties from Moonshine and Dubs Alive  contributor Bukkha on ‘Crackle’ we feel privileged to feature such first class talents on the LP.

We are seriously excited to get this one out and two and half years into this journey we couldn’t think of a better way to mark the 10th release. Pencil it into your diaries, the 18th of August 2016 is the date this drops with exclusive first releases as always from Juno Download and the Instigate Recordings Bandcamp.
