☜loopcrusher☞ is a german music-producer.
His realname is Holger Schneckenburger. He was born in 1974 in Stuttgart and grow up in Filderstadt, a city near Stuttgart.
Mainly he earn his money as IT-kid for differnt companies.
At the age of 7 he was very interested in the vinyls of his older sister and parants. His favourites in this time was David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Jean-Michel Jarre, Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield, Kraftwerk, Falco.... so, it is certain he is a child of the best 80s- and 90s-music. Until today hi is a fan of the best Classic-, Pop-, Reggae-, HipHop-, Triphop-, Heavy-, Metal-, Rock-, Punk-, Rock´n-Roll, R&B-, Rap-, Wave-, EBM-, Techno-, Acid-, Progressive House-, Rave-, Electro-, Minimal-, Dub Step-, Industrial-, Ambient, Chillout-, Trance-, Hardflour-, Breakbeat-, Dschungel-, Gabber-music. This much kinds of music makes him special influenced and build his own music style. With the age of 9 years he began to play with his mothers acoustic guitar and taked lessons in it. A short time later he got his first own electric guitar from his grandmother. Later when he had a Commodere C64, Atari ST, and Commodore Amiga he checked out produce his first guitar-computer-music with different sample-, tracker- and midisoftware. In this time he started to write songs with text and sang to it. Also he was a member in the schoolband where he played guitar and sang to some songs. In this time he began as DJ for schooldiscos and do this for different occasions till now. Later in education he met a guy which play drumms and they build a prachial-punkrock-band togehter with another guitarplayer and a bassguitarplayer. The name of the band was „Broken Circles“ (today the bandname is used by another band). Bevor and after the band rehearse he taught himself to play the drumms. Besides the different bandprojects he always improved his own digital music-projects on home computers, PCs and analog synthesizers, inspired by the Rolands TB and TR series in techno music. He followed the electronic music scene from beginning and celebrated the best techno-music in stuttgarts clubs. His favourite clubs were the „OZ“, „Nexus 6“ and the „M1“ because there were the best DJs. In the „OZ“ was real fantastic, fat laser projectors. Untill today he never stop making music and he will never give it up.

MUSIC...Music...music ~~~~ I've had repetitive beat syndrome for over 25 years now & have been heavily involved in the dance, rave & club scene and culture since the early 90's. 
Starting off as a (natural born)raver then DJ ( n0mad ), label rep ( Noom/Gstar )before going on  to being an  'event facilitator'  working & networking with various contacts, soundsystems & clubs all over the place - specialising in various house, trance & techno electronic music genres  mainly in South Africa, Japan, Russia, Holland & France etc but especially in London, Germany & Ibiza . 
Over this period I, like many,  have seen dance and club culture change, evolve and progress all over the world, all due to digitization, evolving laws, the drugs & attitudes of the party people & rave culture as a whole. 
Having retired from the 'front line' party side of things last year, well 'mainly' ;) as I was hoping to at least hit the big 50 and still have 6 years to go haha  

Alex Alive ist als DJ längst überregional bekannt und ebenso dürfte es keinen Club im Ruhrgebiet geben, der den Dorstener noch nicht kennt. In den meisten war Alex Alive in seiner Laufbahn als Gast-, Booking- und Resident-DJ am Start.

Alex Alive beschreibt seinen Musikstil als “Deep, Funky, Club, Tropical, Classic House und Melbourne Bounce”. Der 30jährige gebürtige Düsseldorfer DJ hat sich mit dem Remix von Corey Hart - “Sunglasses at Night”, sowie den Mash-up´s von Tujamo´s - “Booty Bounce” und Steve Aoki vs Southside Spinners – “The Power of Luvstruck” einen Namen in der DJ-Szene gemacht. Seine erste eigene Produktion "WYT is cool" erreichte vom Start weg in 5 verschiedenen Charts sehr hohe Platzierungen. 
Das war Grundstein für weitere Produktionen zusammen mit Top DJs wie Sunny Marleen und IQ Talo. Die Tracks dieser Zusammenarbeit erreichten teilweise immer Top 10 Platzierungen auf Dance-Charts, DDP, DDJC und Dance50.
