Next is Shinigami, witch follows in equally impressive fashion with galloping beats and grooves adorned with rhythmic pulses, bringing a commanding dance floor presence, closing the EP with maestry. Ruben Karapentyan’s RKP travels to Argentina for their 25th offering, welcoming Soulmade to the label for his debut single. Based in Rosario, Nahuel V aka Soulmade has gained considerable momentum since adopting the Soulmade moniker in 2020. Armed with a progressive style that often finds a cohesive balance between the new and old school sounds of the genre, it was Soulmade’s first ever release, an EP project for Just Movement, which set the course for subsequent standout offerings via Balkan Connection, Droid9, Strangers Beats, Univack and more across the next three calendar years. Now, as 2024 reaches its second half, Soulmade continues on an upwards trajectory, adding RKP to his resume with ‘Ground Under’, alongside remixes from Kebin Van Reeken and Teom.

The first interpretation of ‘Ground Under’ is provided by Kebin Van Reeken who makes his label debut. Hailing from the Netherlands but now calling Argentina home, Kebin has made significant strides since emerging in 2019. Often finding a cohesive balance between progressive and melodic house and techno, the Cordoba resident has taken his cross-genre style to Beat Boutique, Freegrant Music, Traful, Sound Avenue, and his own Venture Records imprint, the latter of which acts as his primary home. With 2024 being highlighted by projects for Mango Alley, Univack and a standout remix for Mike Koglin and Moodfreak, Kebin now makes his RKP debut with a groovy rendition of ‘Ground Under’. Landing with a resounding thump, Kebin finds success with a tighter, dancefloor minded approach. Punchy kick drums and spacious grooves marry beautifully with flickering percussion and charming atmospheres as the first act takes shape. Hopeful pads and trance inducing melodies take centrestage across the main break, bringing equal amounts of anticipation and serenity, before a striking vocal sample cues a stripped drop and percussion driven finale.

Giuliano Rodrigues is a renowned Brazilian DJ and music producer, widely recognized for his significant contributions to the Dub Techno genre. Born with an innate passion for music, Giuliano channeled his talent and creativity to craft a unique and captivating sound that deeply resonates with genre enthusiasts.

In 2012, Giuliano founded his first digital label, @flowingmovementmusic. Through this label, he not only promoted his own music but also elevated the profile of numerous other artists within the genre. His commitment to sonic excellence and dedication to cultivating a vibrant community of Dub Techno producers and fans have solidified his position as a central figure in the music scene.

In 2020, amid the pandemic, he launched DUBGIU, followed by Afterdub in 2023 and @dublucid in 2024—all focused on deep tech, deep house, minimal, and, of course, Dub Techno.

Giuliano has also released tracks on @lucidflow, a label founded by @nadjalind and @helmut-ebritsch, also known as @klartraum. The duo has produced remixes of Giuliano’s tracks, showcasing mutual respect and collaboration within the Dub Techno community. Two of Giuliano’s songs were even played at the iconic Burning Man festival. Giuliano also had the opportunity to remix Klartraum's track Manifestation, which has garnered over 60,000 plays on Spotify.

Additionally, Giuliano was featured on the popular YouTube channel GENTLEMAN, which boasts over 400,000 subscribers. In a dedicated video, @gentlemantracks selected ten tracks released by Giuliano under DUBGIU and created a one-hour set featuring his music. The channel also added two of his tracks to its top Spotify playlists.

Giuliano’s music portfolio extends to @superordinate-music, founded by @naetek. He has collaborated with Nae:Tek on several tracks, demonstrating his versatility and ability to synergize with other artists. Most recently, Giuliano released new music on @piranha-siberia, continuing to contribute fresh and innovative sounds to the Dub Techno scene.

Through these platforms and collaborations, Giuliano Rodrigues continues to solidify his reputation as a prolific and influential figure in Dub Techno, constantly pushing the genre's boundaries and connecting with a global audience.
