Foule Contact is about freeing ourselves from barriers and finding ourselves together, through music in its more profound way. Going from the virtual world to real-life and connect all together in each and every one of those tracks. Foule Contact is the idea that the current atmosphere won’t last forever, and that we already expect our reunion, cradled with tenderness and all the energy accumulated over the last few months.

This compilation is about 15 eclectic and danceable tracks. Gathering a broad spectrum of genres that animate us, from House to Italo-Disco , Afro cosmic or Leftfield .

Originally from Kazakhstan, AVIVX attended RBMA Tokyo at the age of 21 and is currently living in Tbilisi, Georgia. He has DJed at some of Europe’s leading queer clubs and parties including Berlin’s Buttons, Popoff Kitchen, Wilde Renate, and KHIDI. This summer AVIVX presents the pulsating, other-worldly ‘Dark Temple’ EP, released on the acclaimed Rotterdam-based Electronic Emergencies / Clone. ‘Dark Temple’ EP also marks AVIVX’s first vinyl release.

The next expression by Hunt & Gather label founder and House music raconteur Pezzner. In his latest tale Pezzner, ever the eclecticist and vanguard, transcribes grandiose orchestral expression, Broadway vocal jazz, exalted post-disco, and Balearic tones into a format that we can all gather and dance to.

This is 'Sunrising' and it comes accompanied by two reinterpretations: a propellant electric disco romp by label partner Doza, and a sterling but jovial expression by Deep House legend (and our dear friend) Fred Everything. This release is capped off by Pezzner's playful and flowing reperformance of Herb Alpert's dancefloor classic 'Rise'.  The artwork was created by Robbie Busch, DC Comics writer and penciler.

Since blossoming into life four years ago, Glasgow imprint @west-end-communications has steadily been amassing an impressive catalogue, releasing music from artists such as Perth Drug Legend and The Burrell Connection, and giving debuts to many others.

Returning for his second release on the label with the 'Northern Fight' EP is young producer Craig Johnston aka @djcjuk. We're very happy to be premiering 'Anditsover' - a wispy electro cut with gorgeous plucked melodies and thwacking drums. The sort of track that makes you lose all sense of time itself.

Like a dog following a scent, huddles of people scoured the small, winding streets for night time activities to take them through till the early hours. There was no shortage of parties and gatherings around this way; what mattered was finding the best one. Guidance, promotion or clues were non-existent, you simply had to follow your nose (or your ears) to track it down. So they endlessly meandered from street to street, hoping the harmonious melodies would soon lead them to their destination.

Born out of their party and NTS show of the same name, DJs and radio hosts Feel The Drive AKA Szymek Lawik and Martin Lefteri are taking their first steps into the label world with a V/A that goes through the gears. Their love of Italo, new beat and EBM forms the backbone of FTD's parties and radio show, so of course their label pursuits tread the same synth-driven path. Their debut release brings together four artists manoeuvering in these realms, the likes of Slow Motion co-founder Franz Scala, BIS and Dark Entries alumni Anatolian Weapons, Bordello a Parigi's Furor Exotica and the FTD guys themselves under their Ondata moniker.

Akio Nagase joins Especial with an EP of global acid tracks. Centred around his heritage, Osaka based Nagase infuses his sounds with a mixture of dub and ethno-dance, wrapped in 303 infused mid-tempo 4/4 grooves. 

Making music for over 20 years, as well as running his Makedub parties, Nagase has released for Sound Channel, Darker Than Wax and cult Japanese digital label Chillmountain. It is here, on the latter, that the connection was made and his tracks unearthed. 

Rearranged, re-edited and remixed especially for vinyl, Jurassic Shanghai Acid starts, fusing sound effects, dialogue and samples atop squelching acid beats. Following is Mongol 303, as Khoomii throat singing and acid vibrations loop and flow across the Altai Mountains down to Steppe Plains - Madrugada Eterna.

Okinawa Yunta crosses the South China Sea to home, perfectly mixing unique folk song from Taketomi Island reconstructed with Nagase's gentle, wiggling acid accompaniment. The incessant repetitive groove an Acid mantra, flowing through consciousness to move mind and body. 

The bpm's rise for the close. Saigon Acid mixes tradition and Acid House for fun, a 3AM basement jam where Dan Nhi meets 808 and Nagase presents his ethno-acid love in.
