Sound, Text and Print piece for David Ross Harper's exhibition "The Photographers Shadow" at Rhodes College, Memphis, TN.

Temples and Statues and Steeples Won’t Show it(A museum filled with timeless animals.) Chapter 3

Performance completed while on residency with Sonic Peripheries in Heilengenrode Germany. The piece is constructed of three rhythmic patterns that could be played linearly or overlayed via a series of other instruments.  This piece was played on a 1977 Fender Mustang with stereo output to two guitar amplifiers. The resultant tremelo sound was amplified via the spatial distance between the two guitar amps.

Recorded on 4 channel Zoom H4n Pro w/Audio-Technica ATM33a and AKG p170 also a hand held Olympus Stereo Field Recorder for room tone.

Recently relocated to the Pacific Northwest ,the "bafflingly amorphous" Academy Records was an ellusive and intriguing entity on the Chicago art scene. Multi-disciplinary in output, the group was a collaborative project administered by Stephen Lacy and involves dozens of artists that manifest itself as an unpredictable, cryptic series of public works and performances. These tracks are demos created by Lacy and others for musical based projects.
