I'm Dakota Murphy, 15 years old, and a young avid DJ from Gilbert, Arizona. Started by doing small house parties. Mac-D (Motivated, Ambitious, Creative and Dedicated) was born and raised in Richmond, VA.  At approximately age eight, Mac-D began to carry around a spiral notebook.  This notebook had pages and pages of notes which appeared to be thoughts or expressions of how he was feeling. These were not just thoughts or expressions but lyrics to be used in songs but more specifically Hip-Hop.  He has quite a collection of these notebooks. At age 16, he went into the recording studio making several recordings. His first recording was "Who You Go Turn To" featuring Killa. This song was written, recorded and inspired by the mere excitement of finally getting into the studio. 
At age 18, his dream is not only to be a rapper but to be  a songwriter, producer/engineer in the hip-hop/rap industry.  Music is his life.  He does what he loves and that is to write songs, make beats, record, and promote his music as an independent artist. Favorite artists are Fabolous and the late TuPac and Mac Dre.
