Limnal aka Tom Suncat (@taiyononeko) draws inspiration from a vast expanse of musical influences, settling in the undefined spaces between breakbeat, downtempo, and techno. Deep, textured, and emotive, he invites you to look beyond the immediate and explore the unknown. As a producer, he uses a variety of analog and digital tools to craft soundscapes and atmospheres inspired by those ineffable moments in life - indescribable, yet viscerally real - from samples and synthesis alike. 

When he isn’t in the studio, Tom can be found behind the scenes and occasionally on the decks at parties in and around Nelson and the on the coast of BC. Otherwise, look for him in the mountains, exploring and imbibing the natural beauty of the world.
