Vienna-based Florian Stöffelbauer – also known as Heap, has built a consistent reputation as a skilled DJ, producer and Neubau’s label head.

Now he is set to release a new record via Isla, a collection of abstract electronics with influences from punk, industrial and leftfield sounds galore.

'False Hope' will be available from the 4th of November next month.

In Togo, Gazo doesn’t need any special occasion to resonate with people. Like an everyday life soundtrack, it is present when everything is fine but also when sadness sets in. In France, electronic music is also a popular remedy at any time, but it is often far away when we look at the money we spent the night before with watery eyes. Ago Gazo set the scene for a hybrid genre in which the notions of trance and liberation are palpable. 

Percussion, instruments and traditional chants from Togo, analogical machines and modular synths share a common destiny in this project : bruising emotions like a boxer’s ears.

Tomes (aka Tobias Paramore) uses samplers and synthesisers to build rhythms from raw audio and analog tones. With a rough edge and gritty tone, each element rings clear in a dynamic and layered soundscape. Shuffling grooves and crackly cassette samples interlock with deep kicks and sizzling arpeggios. Drawing inspiration from hip hop, techno, dub, drum and bass and many more styles, Tomes has performed primarily electronic music extensively, both solo and as a part of a duo, all over the world in varied locations.

Bipolar Bear
Bipolar Bear's musical journey began in Romania, immersed in the underground hip-hop and bass scene. After relocating to Manchester, UK, he embraced the city's vibrant electronic music scene, transitioning to production and DJing. Garnering respect in the UK circuit, he's performed at esteemed festivals and venues.
Since 2019, Bipolar Bear has made Da Nang, Vietnam his new home. A tireless advocate for the local scene, he promotes events, curates lineups, and DJs across the region. His sets are known for their intricate yet uplifting blend of cosmic disco, acid tech, and global-infused left-field house.

Akio Nagase DJ/Producer 
Originally from Osaka, Japan, Akio Nagase has released numerous productions on Japanese labels such as Sound-Channel, Rudiments and jetset since the 1990s. In 2018, he released the DELUSION EP on Chillmountain Records, hosted by Ground, and in 2019, the Like A Acid House EP was released digitally.
His music has been well received by international DJs, with Nicola Cruz and Justin Robertson playing Vietnamese Acid.
He provided a guest mix for Tim Sweeny's BIS Radio at in 2020, Funk Bast*rd's Singapore-based label Darker Than Wax released the Roots Magic EP digitally. In 2021, the single 'Global Acid EP' is released on Emotional Especial. In 2022, they released their second single 'African Acid EP' on the same label, further expanding their activities. Participated in the 'EnjoyYourSelf EP', co-produced by Emotional Especial and Chill Mountain. His originality and music with a texture different from the existing ones attracts a lot of attention.
