"I love the intro to the original track, and realized that it would work particularly well in psytrance. Inspired by the work of Akitaka Tohyama/AJURIKA from the late 2000s/early 2010s, I decided to adapt the whole track into this genre. It proved to be rather challenging at times since I wanted to maintain a mysterious cyber feeling, but I'm glad with how it turned out."

when tasked with making "frog style music", the first thing i did was use my phone to record some frogs chirping. using that as a jumping off point, i layered some randomized arpeggios to evoke the shimmer of sunlight off of a pond. the next section has these bright FM pads, deep bass, and powerful drums... i wanted it to feel like you're stepping outside, and your senses are overwhelmed by the sunlight.
as for the lyrics... i'm going through a lot of major changes in my life, and so the frogs (transformed from tadpoles), as well as the start of spring, are meant to represent a major rebirth, a new beginning. the second half of the lyrics, for me means that even if you might feel like you're alone, and no one acknowledges you, as long as a single person appreciates something that you put into the world, then that's enough to make life worth living.

• About this track: This is more of a concept of how a new Ridge Racer menu would sound. As such, the first parts of the track are broken into different menus, such as the title screen, car selection, course selection, and time trial. The second part is more of a celebration of the series where I envision cars speeding down famous locales such as Rave City River Front, and Ridge City. I was initially going to put the announcer in with menu SFX, but thought that might be a bit much.
