DJ/producer since 1997, Toronto-born accomplice is a proudly genre-fluid selector with deep roots in Montreal’s underground.

From early residencies with iDJ and Junglist Fridays at Blue Dog, to his time in South Korea where he held down slots at Vinyl Underground (Busan), Konkrete Jungle Seoul, and festivals like Pentaport, accomplice has always thrived where bass meets boundary-pushing energy.

Now based lakeside in cottage country north of Toronto, accomplice continues to move dance floors in unexpected ways—bridging decades of influence through sets that blend depth, soul, and surprise.

DJ Dancin' Dave's musical style is influenced by over a decade of classical training and a BA in Music. This background leads him to curate musical journeys that cross a wide spectrum of genre and tempo, with a focus on melodic bass, etheric and entheogenic atmospheres, and a juicy blend of soulful melodies, harmonies and musical texture. Think tribal dubs, shamanic bass, angelic and high vibe vocals with folktronic and jazzy roots, west coast ambient & psychedelic layers blended with UK minimal garage & bass and frequent global fusions featuring instruments from around the world. And of course the odd punch of grimy, dripping bass in all the right places.

His 2023–24 "Zodiac Mixtape Series" features a dozen musical journeys to connect with each of the 12 astrological archetypes.
