It’s no secret: I love Detroit.

The people. The city. The music. The parties. And when it comes to DJing, Detroit just hits different. There’s a rawness and a reverence on those dance floors—like the city itself is dancing with you.

When Jerry Downey from Sexual Tension Detroit invited me to play at Temple Bar in 2019, I said yes immediately. No hesitation. No overthinking. I packed my crates, boarded that train, and brought the heat.

This mix is the result.

This set was recorded in November 2019 while accomplice was prepping for a gig in Detroit.  As is often the case, he played something completely different.  A year or so later, this set was played at an All Over The Space party, but that recording is almost 4 hours long, and let's be honest, you're unlikely to listen to a 4 hour long set... and so for a more reasonable hour and a half, please enjoy.

DJ/producer since 1997, Toronto-born accomplice is a proudly genre-fluid selector with deep roots in Montreal’s underground.

From early residencies with iDJ and Junglist Fridays at Blue Dog, to his time in South Korea where he held down slots at Vinyl Underground (Busan), Konkrete Jungle Seoul, and festivals like Pentaport, accomplice has always thrived where bass meets boundary-pushing energy.

Now based lakeside in cottage country north of Toronto, accomplice continues to move dance floors in unexpected ways—bridging decades of influence through sets that blend depth, soul, and surprise.
