Equipment used for writing, producing, mixing and recording these tracks in April, 1996 (no Digital Audio Workstation at that time, only external machines!):

Computer: Atari STF 1040 (1 MB Ram, 2 x 16 MIDI Outs, monochrome (black and white) Monitor SM 124 )
Software: Cubase 1.5 (of course no audio; only MIDI sequencing)

Sound machines:
- Ensoniq ASR 10 (16 MB RAM, 16 Bit, 44, 1 kHz stereo sampler)
- Yamaha SY 85 (digital synthesizer)
- Yamaha TG 500 (digital synthesizer)
- Roland D 50 (digital dynthesizer; only used for the intro "jet-sound" on "Hightechflash")
- Juno 106 ( pure analog synthesizer; used in the wicked pitch-bend part in "Hightechflash"    
     starting at minute 1:40)
- Moog Rogue (pure analog synthesizer)
- Korg Poly 800 (pure analog synthesizer)
- Roland TR 909 (drummachine; used for snares and hihats in "Hightechflash")

- Yamaha VL-71(Digital Synthesizer, one of the first virtual "Physical Modelling" machines; only used in "Hightechflash": it plays the additional 16th-bassline layer - although this machine was actually made for emulating brass instruments it had some very impressive and "lively" bass sounds... it is really rare nowadays) 

Effects:
- Kawai RV4
- Internal effects of the digital synths and samples (the ASR 10 Sampler had a brilliant sounding   internal reverb that could be used for external sounds as well). 

Mixer:
Mackie 8-Bus (32 Channels) Analog Console

Recording:
Sony DAT (Digital Audio Tape)

The mixing transitions (no pitching or stretching!) of the megamix were made with an Apple Mac Hard Disc Recording Computer (can't remember the exact model).
