Lady Cris is the vocal embodiment of a fine tuned instrument. The truth that is displayed in her raw lyricism calls upon our deepest emotions.

This soulful songstress was enveloped by music being the daughter of a Pastor/Singer Father along with an entire family of musical genius. The Chicago native found her musical abilities apparent from as early as the age of two, mimicking vocal runs and phrases from the likes of Kim Burrell, Lalah Hathaway, and Ella Fitzgerald. With a church upbringing, she found much comfort in music and its ability to take her away from the pain and confusion that taunted her journey into adulthood. In her later teenage years, she discovered songwriting, arranging, and producing.  Having this natural talent, combined with her vocal abilities led her to find purpose in live performances all over Chicago.  On stage she became fearless and felt at home.  As a bridge between jazz, swing, gospel, and hip hop, she has formed collaborations with some of the music industry’s biggest contributors, such as: R. Kelly, Music Soulchild, Craig Kallman, Ne-Yo, and Michael Kyser. She has also developed strategic relationships with Unversal.  Most recently she has loaned her vocal talent to the production of Sir the Baptist’s debut album, PK.

Ultimately, Lady Cris prays to be a vessel of change, a benchmark of social justice, and a voice against the governmental contrast in her own life.
