Abstractionist is a 4-piece "Experimental Heavy Jazz" outfit from Northampton, PA formed by Guitarists Jake Horn and Kyle Lighting, Percussionist Louis Mattaboni, and Bassist Jordan Fenner to create music of many different styles. Drawing from a diverse range of influences such as Between the Buried and Me, Wes Montgomery, The Black Keys, Death, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, Cynic, My Bloody Valentine, System of A Down and more, they seek to write new and innovative music and spread it to the masses.
