this version uses my intro with some added percussion, gavin's composition changes, and is mostly the same as the final version except it keeps the key change from the original, with an extra repeat of the main section, and the outro closely resembles the intro. although the ending that gavin came up with is really cool, i still like the ending in this one too, something about a callback to the intro just feels right.

Hey, everyone!

This track in particular...really hits home for me, it represents a time that has long passed; a time I yearn for even to this very day.

I get a lot of emotions from this one specifically; nostalgia, sadness, excitement, happiness. it really does feel like the end of an era, and I want to stick around for just a little bit longer to give some closure to my fans and my friends who came from this community.

Say what you want, but the Undertale Soundcloud Community is far from it's prime now, we're all growing older, and taking on new responsibilities, and opportunities! it's frightening, but not entirely in a bad way.

I hope this song means as much to you as it does to me, I'm not sure what drove me to come back even for a little bit...perhaps a candle burns brightest just before it goes out?

I'm starting to sound like Brandon rn, I'll stop right here haha.

Well, here it is. After 17+ hours of going back into the project and making several changes to make sure it was decent to good enough, I finished the cover. This may not be the best cover to exist, but I'm satisfied with how it turned out. I originally was gonna have inspiration from other teoat covers, but that might be for the next time I take a stab at this. Either way, most of the inspiration is from Zasriel's cover, go check his content out!
