GRAMMY-nominated producers Andrew Bayer and Gabriel & Dresden join forces with GRAMMY-nominated songwriter and vocalist Sub Teal on ‘Other Eye’, out now on Anjunabeats.

Andrew Bayer, Gabriel & Dresden & Sub Teal have been integral parts of the trance scene for over a decade. They make their collaborative debut on ‘Other Eye’, a track played extensively by Above & Beyond in recent performances at Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Forest and more.

Andrew Bayer has been responsible for the most experimental and ambitious artist albums on Anjunabeats. His 2011 debut ‘It’s Artificial’ merged glitch-hop, electronica and prog house, while on 2013’s ‘If It Were You, We’d Never Leave’ he pushed the envelope further with a critically-acclaimed journey of electronica and sunny, instrumental hip-hop. 2018's ‘In My Last Life’ wove the emotive songwriting of Ane Brun and Alison May into a modern alt-pop masterpiece. His fourth studio album, ‘Duality’, is one of his most ambitious works to date; climbing to #1 on the US / Canada iTunes Dance chart and attracting support from Sirius XM's Diplo and Liquid Todd, BBC Radio 1's Annie Nightingale and KCRW's Jason Bentley.

This year, Andrew followed up the success of ‘Duality’ with a far-reaching North American tour and made an appearance at Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Weekender festivities at The Gorge. He also joined Seven Lions on his ‘Journey III’ tour with stops at The Greek Theatre, MGM Hall, Avant Gardner (Brooklyn Mirage), Downtown Las Vegas Event Center, Santa Barbara Bowl and beyond.

Josh Gabriel & Dave Dresden, aka Gabriel & Dresden, have built an enduring legacy across their 20+ year career. Known for their unique brand of ‘emotional dance music,’ the DJ and producer duo helped define the sound of modern trance music with hits like ‘As The Rush Comes’, ‘Beautiful Things’ and ’Tracking Treasure Down.’ The pair also created three essential mixes on BBC Radio 1, won Best American DJ, Best Producers and Best Remixers at the IDMA Awards, scored 21 #1’s on the Billboard Dance Chart, peaked at #20 on DJ Mag Top 100 DJ’s poll and have performed in over 40 countries.

Gabriel & Dresden made their ‘The Only Road’ and ‘Remedy’ albums off the back of Kickstarter campaigns released on Anjunabeats in 2017 and 2020 respectively. Title track ‘Only Road’,’ co-written and performed by Sub Teal, went on to be remixed by Cosmic Gate and was subsequently nominated for a GRAMMY in 2018. They stayed active during the pandemic with their Club Quarantine lockdown Twitch streams, growing a community of over 50k, and followed it up in real life with their ‘Gabriel & Dresden + Friends’ tour. The pair return to Anjunabeats after their last single on the label, ‘Bias’, which earned support from Cosmic Gate, Darude, Genix, Farius and more.

Sub Teal has been a longtime collaborator with Gabriel & Dresden as a songwriter and vocalist on ‘The Only Road’ and ‘Remedy’ albums. As a DJ, she joined Gabriel & Dresden on all dates of the ‘Gabriel & Dresden + Friends’ tour, as well as performing weekly on the Club Quarantine live stream. ‘Other Eye’ marks the first of many upcoming collaborations for this gifted singer/songwriter.

Combining their individually unique skillsets and influences, the duo of MATTN and DJ’s From Mars were able to blend their separate sonic profiles in to one coherent party remix of Picotto’s classic electronic anthem ‘Komodo’. Two superstars of the EDM world combine and unsurprisingly, they bring the house down! Breathing new life in to a seminal hit in the EDM scene, the duo completely flip the original on its head by trading the calmer sections in the original for thumping kick drums and heavier emphasis on that unforgettable synth line.

At only 26 years old, MATTN is one of the youngest yet hottest prospects in the EDM scene. In her short but illustrious career so far, the young starlet has performed at Creamfields, Tomorrowland, Sunburn and various other clubs across the world, including Dubai, Italy and her home country of Belgium. DJ’s From Mars are a masked Italian DJ/producer duo who have been making waves in the industry for some time now. They found their initial success through remixing songs from some of the biggest names in the industry right now, including the likes of David Guetta, Pitbull, Steve Aoki, Carl Cox, the list goes on! Since then, the pair have never looked back since, eventually progressing to original productions which secured them a place in the DJ Mag Top 100 in 2013. Fast forward to present day and DJ’s From Mars are a global brand who continue to rock shows across the world for millions of fans, year in year out.

Ace of Base is something as uncomplicated as a pop band, that doesn’t try to be or appear to be anything else than that. They want to make their listeners feel good when hearing their music. They don’t have any heavy messages, even if the songs obviously have become better crafted and substantial over the years. Simplicity isn’t easy. The fact that Ace of Base has sold over 30 million albums and 15 million singles proves that they know what they’re doing.

Ace of Base is one of the world’s biggest bands, one of those rare bands whose name is a well-known brand wherever in the world you go. Their fans, so called ”Acers”, also show a passionate interest in the band. Every year, some of them fly in to Gothenburg from all over the world to get together, share views and opinions on the band, check out the studios where the band has recorded and walk the streets where Ace of Base grew up.

A brief History:
The Ace of Base story started in the early 90’s when the three Berggren siblings (Jonas, Malin and Jenny) formed the techno band Tech Noir. Next to their rehearsal room, Ulf Ekberg played in another band. Soon, Jonas and Ulf hit it off, started to write and produce together and Ace of Base as we know them were formed. After having recorded a demo of original songs, including ”All That She Wants”, the band went to Stockholm where they visited all major record companies. No one showed any interest. (Jonas later remembered somebody explaining that the songs were ”too obvious, too simple”). Next step was Copenhagen, where Mega Records immediately saw the band’s potential and loved their positive, uncomplicated and slightly reggae-tinged pop music.
