I wanted to express the repetitive attempt to touch what remains out of reach. Physically. Mentally. Locked from the outside. Locked from the inside.  When the words are missing. When the meaning is nowhere. 
To go on. Try. Again and again.

„Luft Flüstern“ oder „Flüsternde Winde“ ( 16.12.2022 ) 

Mich fasziniert immer wieder bei Spaziergängen die Geräusche des Windes.
Mal sind diese ganz zart flüsternd, säuseln an meinen Ohren vorbei.
Dann wieder kräftig und laut. Die Vögel sind still. 

Die Auen und Graslandschaften werden – so habe ich das Gefühl – in Form gebürstet.
Man hört nur den Wind. Was möchte er erzählen. Denke ich mir.
Ein starkes raunen fegt durch das Gestrüpp und die Bäume.
Der Wind ist rastlos und zieht um die ganze Welt.
Er durchstreift weite große Täler, große Wälder, Berge, Wüsten, und das Meer.
All das ist in dem Wind. Aufbrausend, stürmisch, aber manchmal auch sehr zart flüsternd.

Genau diesem Moment habe ich versucht mit dieser Komposition zu erspüren.
Klanglich nahbarer zu machen.

Einfach mal genau hinhören. Der Wind hat seine eigene Melodie und Klangfarbe.

Ja der Wind flüstert uns seine eigene Musik. Denn alles was er überfliegt und berührt Bäume, Sträucher, Gras, Steine Wasser und Sand, erzeugt einen eigenen Klang.

"Air Whisper" or "Whispering Winds" ( 16.12.2022 )

I'm always fascinated by the sound of the wind on walks.
Sometimes these are very softly whispering, whispering past my ears.
Then strong and loud again. The birds are silent.

I have the feeling that the meadows and grasslands are being brushed into shape.
You only hear the wind. What does he want to tell? I think to myself.
A strong murmur sweeps through the undergrowth and the trees.
The wind is restless and moves around the world.
He roams wide great valleys, great forests, mountains, deserts, and the sea.
All of that is in the wind. Short-tempered, stormy, but sometimes also very softly whispering.

Exactly this moment I tried to feel with this composition.
To make it sound more approachable.

Just listen carefully. The wind has its own melody and timbre.

Yes, the wind whispers its own music to us. Because everything it flies over and touches trees, bushes, grass, stones, water and sand creates its own sound.

a big thanks to not only plex but a few other friends who helped with unused versions of this along the way.  i've made so many stabs at finishing this song...i've never spent anywhere near this amount of time or energy on a song or project before.  that being said, i really like the finished version, and i am stoked to be finally sharing it with my friends.

Got some question about the modulation on the voice. I use DAW: Reason. There you have a pitch corrector called Neptune. So I have used the synth to adjust the vocals/adding this weird processed harmonies.  There is a small button in the corrector called voice synth. There is a guide here:

(I will fine adjust the song. keep listening to it and there is some small things I wanna change on vocals/drums. Shouldnt affect the overall sound/song. )

Headstart

Hello everyone :) I am Gry. 
Nearly all my songs are originals (See description on songs). I do everything myself from composing the song, arrange it, mixing it and I also play the midi piano and sing! :) I am using Propellerheads Reason DAW. I love it!!!!!

I wish I had much more time to do music, but fulltime job and daily duties requires a lot as well! :)
For now I am happy to do music as a hobby and I have no further ambition than beeing blessed to do some composing when time and chatting with the guys on Songstuff.com on my friends here on Soundcloud.com. 

I am open to collaborations and I also respond genuine messages on my Soundcloud PM. 
My musical referances and inspiration comes from artists like Sigur Ros, Anathema, Clannad, Loreena McKennit + a few Norwegian artists.
I also get inspired from books and movies that also have these fantasy/medieval feel to it. (ex. Lord of the rings)
