The name Obxidian comes from my alternative spelling of the stone, Obsidian. When a volcano erupts and spews out liquid magma the result is a firey flow of lava. When lava is cooled rapidly by excess water in the form of wave or storm, the result is Obsidian. It is volcanic glass known as the sharpest substance in the world. Its properties are to purify negativity into positivity through healing and protection. My journey guided by Obsidian began when I was twelve and I began my first craft of carving arrowheads out of Obsidian. A multi-medium artist, I also create jewelry, paintings and clothing. Examples found in my instagram. I also code as well, which I consider to be another form of art. My life will be my greatest masterpiece. Now as opportunities present themselves again as we adapt, my mission is to channel this momentous shift we are facing as a world, of negative into positive, through my art as Obxidian.
