i'm just an inspired musician probing the dimensions of professional audio mixing and music composition/theory.
i would have liked to call myself a composer but just as all of us search for ourselves and our path, i can only say what i know to be true sprinkled with light exaggeration. every truth affirmed, is another clue to the unanswerable question; who am I?

I am Rich Douglas, an accomplished and innovative composer known for my exceptional contributions to the world of music. With a deep passion for storytelling, I blend genres to create captivating and emotionally charged soundscapes.

I have composed for various media, including notable game scores such as "Shadowgate VR," "Insurgency," "Stranger Things: The Game," and "Lifeless Moon." My music enhances narratives, capturing the essence of each project and leaving a lasting impression on audiences.  Formerly the audio director for Paradigm Entertainment, a THQ company, I have collaborated with renowned filmmakers, game developers, and TV producers. My professionalism, dedication, and exceptional musical prowess have earned industry recognition. Graduating from the Guildhall at SMU in Cohort 2 with a focus on game design, I have a versatile approach, seamlessly blending orchestral arrangements with electronic textures and ethnic influences. This creates a distinct and immersive sonic experience.

With boundless creativity and an unwavering dedication to my craft, I continue to captivate audiences with evocative compositions. My ability to blend diverse musical styles, coupled with my storytelling expertise, cements my position as a revered composer in the world of music.

Michael Bross sculpts a sound that traverses the serene to the haunted. He conjures rhythmic murmurs, dusty atmospheres and ponderous flights amidst the ethereal. Seemingly simple on the surface, it is detailed and textured when regarded with careful attention.

After early beginnings that appeared fireside with experimental soundscapes, jazz strains and ambient leanings, he’s found his home somewhere in the varied folds of electronic music.

In addition to finishing up and releasing a new EP, “Journeys 1” in May, 2020, Bross is known for his extensive soundtrack work on games and is a sought-after composer / producer who is heard by a global audience.

He has been the staple composer on the best-selling Ratchet & Clank series (Sony) for the last 4 titles, a franchise which has sold over 3 million units. He has also composed for Tencent's immensely popular Honor of Kings (also known as Arena of Valor in N. America), with 200 million players per month in China alone. The visually-stunning Oddworld series (over 8 million units sold) has been propelled by his soundtracks for well over a decade and have received cult status.
