Mr Sosa shows flexes his production prowess with a spacey break laden track for his second release on Needwant records, Ride. 

The track starts out with layers airy vocals and a stumbling synth line before ascending into a fluid break beat. The real climax of this track comes in the second drop, when an array of arpeggios and a deep moving bass come to accompany the stuttering beat. This track harks back to the days of jungle cuts and breaks but has the benefit of a modern and clean production. 

Over the last two years, Mr. Sosa has made a name for himself both in the studio and behind the decks, renowned for chunky acid and catchy chords. Off the back of successful EP, ‘Orion’ Mr. Sosa was signed to Anjunadeep as well as seeing releases on Houseum, Misplaced records, Clipp art, Fresh take records & Elation.

We present you the EP from Anton Levdikov “The Umbra is going wild”.  Umbras are the author’s mythical characters, about whom he tells legends about and depicts in his paintings and installations.  The EP chronicles their journeys, which become wilder from track to track: through darkness to light, through light to darkness.  A long but fascinating journey.

Musically, Anton notes his love for industrial music, acid house and electronic body music.  The remixes involve producers from different genres: their diversity continues the path of Umbra.  Among them: Mexican producer TKUZ, Spaniard and owner of the Logical Records label - Ivan De La Rouche, resident of Arma 17 and Pinkman - LVRIN, one of the founders of the Bravers - ORYOL and resident of Temple de Plastique - JULIA KONOR.

When he came to his senses and opened his eyes from the excessive harsh light, for a long time he could not understand where he was. Everything around seemed somehow strange, the trees had strange shapes, the grass was some kind of unnaturally rusty red, the sky had a poisonous-violet hue, the sounds did not lag behind of that he saw, some kind of half-acid birdsinging , the rustle of grass was somehow metallic, and then he remembered where he was, and get  horrified - is this really true? and a gust of wind flying past “whispered” to him with a sort of destructively grating sound - “yes my friend, welcome to Sucksonia".

Following releases this year on XXX and Nein, Italian duo Younger Than Me now make their debut on Jennifer Cardini and Noura Labbani’s Dischi Autunno with an outstanding, explorative, yet inherently (and beautifully) 90s-feeling five-track EP.
Three originals, two remixes: ‘Mind Hunter’ leads the cosmic charge, ploughing us beyond the known universe on a ship of acid and pulsating warm analog synths. ‘Feeling Breath’ takes us even deeper into electronica’s most formative decade with an uptempo thrust, more acid and wry elements of trance before ‘Sewer Rat’ takes us deep underground with much more of a percussive techno twist.
