SNIR , is a dynamic DJ and innovative music producer from Idar-Oberstein, in the west of Germany. Since his first encounter with the Berlin techno scene in 2016, he has had his heart set on getting involved.

As a DJ, he inspires with his pulsating sets, while under the project name MOZ_ART_BEATS he creates creative sound worlds based on an arsenal of synthesizers, drum machines and MIDI controllers.

Background and career
In the summer of 2016, Stefan made a formative discovery while staying with an acquaintance in Berlin-Neukölln: the techno scene there. The energy and rhythm of the music he experienced in the clubs immediately captivated him. Inspired by this experience, he quickly bought a used DJ controller to experiment with mixing tracks himself. It soon became apparent that SNIR had a natural talent for music. His strong sense of tact, his willingness to experiment and his keen sense of good music enabled him to create mixes that not only thrilled himself, but also his friends and acquaintances. The positive feedback encouraged him to continue pursuing his path in music.

MOZ_ART_BEATS: A new chapter
In 2020, Snir realized that he had even more potential than just being a DJ. Thanks to a valuable tip, he discovered the Elektron Analog Rytm and began producing beats. Once he felt confident with this synthesizer, he invested in a variety of other drum machines, samplers and MIDI controllers to realize his musical visions. He called this new project MOZ_ART_BEATS - a tribute to his passion for electronic sounds and creative freedom.

MOZ_ART_BEATS stands for the fusion of classical and modern electronic music. SNIR creates complex, rhythmic soundscapes that are suitable for both the club experience and personal journey of discovery. The project reflects his continuous search for new sounds and innovative production methods.

Musical style and projects
As a DJ, SNIR is known for his energetic, genre-bending sets, ranging from techno to house, that will shake up the dance floor. With MOZ_ART_BEATS he focuses on creating unique beats and soundscapes that transport audiences to another world. His debut album, which includes a mix of analog and digital sounds, is scheduled for 2024.

Mission and vision
SNIR's mission is to constantly push the boundaries of electronic music and surprise audiences with unexpected sound experiences. His vision, both as a DJ and with MOZ_ART_BEATS, is to connect people around the world through music and create deeper emotional connections.

Personal notes
Away from music, SNIR spends his time exploring new sources of inspiration - be it in nature, through travel or through engaging with various art forms. For him, music is a lifelong process of learning and discovery that always drives and inspires him.

Benji also runs his own vinyl label 303 Alliance (est. 2014) which is going from strength to strength and is now well into double figures.

He also runs a second sub label called Alliance Digital and Finally, a Dub & Reggae infused Acid Techno label - Sonic Iration (with Jah Scoop AKA The Geezer).
