By the time Sunday night rolls around at Burning Man you tend to loose the majority of the wankas and are left with your true party people. The vibes get beautifully thick and people are connected. Our home base,  The Kazbah,  was receiving endless donations at the bar from house music lovers who just wanted to keep the party going just like we did and thats exactly what happened. It was a great feeling to bring the playa alive one last time for the year.

This mix tells the Acid Boyz story through and through. We compiled plenty of music over the summer together and all the goodies came out on this one. Acid Boyz is a DJ duo out of Northern California that was formed when two DJ's who were also close friends both were overtaken by a certain energy that neither of them could explain or control. "We never set out with any intent to start this project, it was more like we had no say in the matter and the project chose us." When you listen to Acid Boyz music you can expect a few things to be consistent; an element of tasteful surprise, dance-able grooves, and mixes that can cross genres with an certain audible ease. Currently Acid Boyz are spreading their sounds to a growing fan base both at home and around the globe all while simultaneously starting production on their first EP release to come out this fall on Gunny Recordings, a small SF based label. If you get the chance to catch these guys at a club or on this years festival circuit this season bring your ready ears ......and your buddy with the acid.
