Acid Boyz is a DJ duo out of Northern California that was formed when two DJ's who were also close friends both were overtaken by a certain energy that neither of them could explain or control. "We never set out with any intent to start this project, it was more like we had no say in the matter and the project chose us." When you listen to Acid Boyz music you can expect a few things to be consistent; an element of tasteful surprise, dance-able grooves, and mixes that can cross genres with an certain audible ease. Currently Acid Boyz are spreading their sounds to a growing fan base both at home and around the globe all while simultaneously starting production on their first EP release to come out this fall on Gunny Recordings, a small SF based label.
