Some people go down so deep the pressure makes them different. This is a song about those who've died and come back to this place—the ones who burned so hot they turned to something else.

Dark melodic techno exploring the profound loneliness of transformation. About friends who disappear completely into darkness and return months later, same face but fundamentally different. Compressed into diamonds. The ones who've seen the bottom of nothing and built meaning from the void with their bare hands.

They're not trying to be holy, not trying to be wise. They just exist, and the room rearranges itself around them. Something in you understands.

Haunting tenor vocals echo through industrial soundscapes, falsetto lost in abandoned tunnels, modular sequences spiraling like the pressure that reshapes us. Production that makes decay beautiful—rust-textured reverb, ghost train synthesizers, bass rumbling through forgotten spaces.

Sophia Alexandra is a Toronto-based DJ and vocalist recognized for her distinctive contribution to the underground electronic music scene. As a DJ, she delivers sets that blend melodic elements with diverse rhythmic structures, drawing from electro, house, techno, leftfield bass, and breaks. Her performances balance atmospheric depth with dynamic energy, conveying a deep intensity with light-hearted complexity- encouraging an energetic and playful dance floor.

As a vocalist, Alexandra has toured extensively with her live electronic duo 'Pick A Piper,' performing at festivals and clubs across Canada, Colombia and Europe, sharing stages with notable artists including Ghetto Kumbé, Systema Solar, Uproot Andy, and Factory Floor.
Alexandra is the curator of Mixology, a weekly event series held every Friday in Toronto. The platform highlights both emerging local talent and established touring artists, fostering community engagement and supporting the development of Toronto's electronic music scene through carefully curated, diverse programming.

Being a regular guest in Frankfurt’s techno and house clubs in the early 90s, JD discovered and developed his passion for electronic music. Soon he had to get his own setup of 1210 turntables to get going – no way back then...

From 1996 on he served his guests nicely mixed ambient sounds while also being a cocktail mixer at Wiesbaden’s legendary “Der Mensch verlässt die Erde”. Moving to another hip and progressive spot in town, he lived up to that very clubs claim: “2SE – 2 Serve Electronics”. And he did: The ornament-ridden rooms of the former Chinese restaurant saw him cutting down the almost cheesy atmosphere to pure minimalist house, trimmed with some selected electronica.
   
In the following years JD played many radio gigs at hr XXL Chillout show or the “Chillout Weekends”. The lounges at Bingens “Palazzo” or breakbeat parties like “Knietief in Beats” had him acting the part: JD – a professional tranquilizer. Upon today, his versatile musical repertoire guarantees him regular bookings in several other clubs in the Rhein-Main area. In club context percussive, groovy house and techhouse sets are his trademark.

His musical skills were in demand for his next job with “Nordisk Club” events. JD was responsible for artist booking as well as contributing his DJ sets to those legendary events of the Frankfurt underground electronic scene.

After that, JD was a weekly resident at Sven Väth’s Cocoon Club, where he pleased the “Silk” an “Micro” guests in the early evening with ambient sounds and later on with house tunes – a style showcased on the mixed compilation “Silk Pearls 2” (Cocoon Recordings).

In 2012, JD moved from Frankfurt to southern Germany/ Ravensburg, where he continues to demonstrate his skills at occasional gigs to this day.
