@Iglooghost is the musical alias of Bristol-based artist Seamus Malliagh, a key figure in experimental electronic music. Known for his intricate, genre-defying productions and immersive visual storytelling, his work blends hyper-detailed soundscapes with surreal, magical-realist narratives—serving as gateways into vast fictional ecosystems filled with cryptic lore and imagined subcultures.

His 2024 album Tidal Memory Exo, released on LUCKYME®, was written during a period spent squatting in a storm-battered garage on the Kent coast. The project draws from that harsh environment, imagining a world where prehistoric debris washes ashore, giving rise to trilobite civilizations and a rogue “tidal scene” of musicians inventing mutated genres like Foamtek, SporeStyle, and Germ_Musik.

Forthcoming on LUCKYME®, Iglooghost’s next EP, 「ᮜ˚」, expands the lore introduced in Tidal Memory Exo. Drawing inspiration from construction vehicles, heavy machinery, and factories, the record dives further into his vocal-led, post-punk-influenced direction teased on the last album—pushing his worldbuilding into even grittier, more industrial territory.

生と死、自然現象。また感覚や感情の、輝きや絶望。それらの人間故に強く知覚できる事柄を人間の視点で定められた状態から解体する。今年のishinokoではE.O.Uとのセッションが行われる。夜といっしょに追いかけっこ。

E.O.U is a sound, a feeling, or a colour, more so than an individual human artist. Every performance is a complete reinvention and a surprise, but always feels like it takes you to the same coherent world, where sunlight softly dapples the swaying pastel grass on a hazy hillside.🪩🌡️⚔️🫀

It captures so well one of the core ideas of ishinoko, as a mysterious entity that exists ambiguously between the organic and the synthetic - the blooming world around us of which we are one part, and the digital and mechanical creations that we seem destined to populate it with.Futuristic, shiny and clean, but with the delicacy and intricacy of a snowflake or a fractalling coral, E.O.U twists and turns through a flume of colour, texture, and pattern, transcending genre and musical boundaries to create something new and of this very moment, capturing a collective feeling and memory, sensitive to the hearts and minds gathered in a space.♟️🧪🦠♬♪♫

This year will be the second time we welcome E.O.U to our stage. We cannot wait to see what a year’s worth of experience - filtered through their unique lens, and in reference to last year’s festival memory - will produce when they return to ishinoko.🍂🏠✮🪨

Life and death, natural phenomena.Senses and emotions, brilliance and despair.

Nizika’s session will deconstruct these essential parts of the human existence and question what being human acutally entails.
