Haciendo ruido desde el 2003, Acidez ha logrado subir el volumen del Punk mexicano, alcanzando un nivel considerable en la escena mundial, demostrando la misma actitud inquebrantable desde sus inicios con un E.P., cuatro álbumes de estudio y tres splits con bandas internacionales. Hardcore Punk con elementos de Thrash, D-Beat y Rock 'n' Roll, influenciado por el Punk inglés de principios de los ochenta es lo que define su sonido,
El ser tu mismo, hacer lo que te plazca  sin importar lo que los demás piensen y el estar orgulloso del camino que has tomado, es el grito que Acidez ha llevado a lo largo de sus giras dentro y fuera de México, destrozando escenarios a lo largo del planeta, con 5 giras europeas presentándose en más de 110 conciertos, incluyendo festivales como Obscene Extreme, Mighty Sounds, Rebellion Festival, Pod Parou, Resist To Exist, etc; 33 shows repartidos en 3 giras en Estados Unidos, 9 en Brasil, 9 en Canadá, 3 en Colombia resaltando su presentación en el Rock Al Parque.
El contenido de las letras generalmente desaprueba al sistema, sus continuas injusticias y sus cimientos hechos a base de egoísmo y codicia. La transgresión a los dogmas religiosos que aún manipulan a nuestra sociedad, la destrucción continua del planeta, el odio a las reglas y el amor por la cerveza son también temas muy comunes usados en la lírica de las canciones, explotando en los oídos de miles de personas que están dispuestas a escuchar el sonido del ácido, que gota a gota corroe la estructura de lo establecido.
