This is recorded LIVE at the Social in London on Saturday October 8th 2022 for an Eighties party. Its part mixed and part blended, as I've included a number of genres with the 100 minutes. As a result, there are a few 'off beats' and a couple of key clashes, but I've left them in, as it's all about THE VIBE, rather than an homogenous mix of monotonous beats. Enjoy

Eighties Cool Cuts, Classics And Curve Balls Part 2

Both parts of my set providing the soundtrack for the recent launch of a book by Kirk Field called Rave New World. I played either side of his appearance, and then edited them together at about 1 hour 23 minutes. As with all of my live mixes, there's a few clangers, and a few absolute genius transitions. I leave them all in to stay true to the original ethos of DJing where it's all about 'The Moment".

ACIDISCOTECH  Classics

This is a recording of a live DJ session I did recently for the launch of a book called Bowie Odyssey '73 by Simon Goddard. Whilst this mix is from digital sources, I still have every track on vinyl. 1973 was an important year for me musically, and I hope that I've reflected that in this collection. There's a glitch in White Light White Heat because I've had to edit my set before Simon with my set after he spoke about the book.

This is the one hour mix I did for the House Train 34 hour House Music extravaganza which was broadcast on You Broadcast Radio on the weekend of July 18/19, 2014. This is a mix I did totally live (one take, no computers or edits) from vinyl only ! in December 2001 in my house. It was done as part of a set of CD's for a friend's New Years Party. The set included the NYE mix which I uploaded last December. This mix is FULL ON energy House music which is a snapshot of what I was playing at the time. 

I did one set of copies which I gave to my best friend Paul le Boutillier in January 2002 .... He has just recently given me a set back burned from his computer. I am INDEBTED to him for keeping my archive ... ENJOY !

Phase 2 Reaching ... Inspirational Pianopella

This is MY original version released in 1990 featuring Rose Windross on Lead vocals. This was my first release for Virgin which was remixed by Heller and Farley. As you can hear ...there's a HUGE difference. All the lyrics apart from the Main chorus and some music were written by me, with OBVIOUS influence and inspiration from the original instrumental classic and subsequent remakes. The Great Dan Hartman was also a Lyrical influence. It also Features the very talented Gerald Elms on Keys and ALL the production and arrangement and mix is done by me :-)

This site is a reflection and in some ways a chronicle of my career in Dance Music .... ALL the mixes are live and mainly all from vinyl .... There are a few which are a mix of Vinyl and CD .... ALL the remixes with the exception of "BREAK FOR LOVE" are from my time as a well known Remixer and Producer. All the ACIDISCOTECH mixes are samples of how I play now in a bar setting although there is some club crossover. ACIDISCOTECH means a mix of sounds and styles and time periods which when combined express the energy  and passion I feel for music ... I FIRMLY BELIEVE IN THE CAPACITY FOR PEOPLE TO OPEN THEIR EARS, MINDS AND HEARTS TO ALL DIFFERENT TYPES OF MUSIC AND ENJOY IT FOR WHAT IT IS ....
