A classically trained musician and long-time face of Soho's legendary Black Market Records, she's known for high-octane DJ sets and razor-sharp productions, her intense percussive blend of house and techno evokes chaos on any dancefloor. 

From Printworks to Amnesia, fabric to Warehouse Project, Koko to Watergate, Hilit commands the world’s most esteemed clubs and festivals, supporting the likes of Floorplan & Radio Slave and opening for Carl Cox. 

Her Defected debut hit #1 on Music Week’s Upfront Club Chart, while her releases on Rekids and Bush garnered massive support from Radio 1 as well as Chloe Caillet, Paul Woolford, Tsha, Carl Craig, Skream, Carlita, Radio Slave, Jamie Jones, Carl Cox, Eliza Rose, Saoirse, Maya Jane Coles, Haai, Syreeta, La La & Emerald, to name a few.

• From '91 played deep US house / garage / uptempo hip hop in chillout rooms at raves and free parties (common pre-Criminal Justice Act...)
 
• Held residencies at many of the best nights in the SW during the 90s: Verbeer Manor, Plymouth Warehouse, Kool Waters, Claires, Club Kaos (Barnstaple), Volts and more. Held my own with all the big names of the day. I'm not name dropping for the sake of it, check my Facebook, I put a load of old flyers up on there.
 
• Later known for funky house, prog and trance . Managing Noisy Boys Records ensured a supply of the fattest tunes!
 
• Currently favouring deep house, 90s classics and disco house & re-edits (Nu disco if you like).

This site is a reflection and in some ways a chronicle of my career in Dance Music .... ALL the mixes are live and mainly all from vinyl .... There are a few which are a mix of Vinyl and CD .... ALL the remixes with the exception of "BREAK FOR LOVE" are from my time as a well known Remixer and Producer. All the ACIDISCOTECH mixes are samples of how I play now in a bar setting although there is some club crossover. ACIDISCOTECH means a mix of sounds and styles and time periods which when combined express the energy  and passion I feel for music ... I FIRMLY BELIEVE IN THE CAPACITY FOR PEOPLE TO OPEN THEIR EARS, MINDS AND HEARTS TO ALL DIFFERENT TYPES OF MUSIC AND ENJOY IT FOR WHAT IT IS .... WITHOUT APPLYING NEGATIVE ENERGY BASED ON WHAT THEY ARE BEING TOLD IS COOL. FUCK POLITICS AND TRENDINESS ... LET'S DANCE !
