I was invited to play "Tauron Nowa Muzyka" festival in Poland this year and when I saw the lineup, I was intrigued at how varied and eclectic it was.⁠
As my slot at the club Stage was the closing set on Sunday morning, I had the idea to summarize the festival in my set.  So on the train to Katowice I started digging into all the artists whom I didn't already know and put a set together that consists only of music from artists who performed at this year’s edition of the festival. 
It was a bit of work and a challenge given the limited amount of time I had to prepare, but it was quite a lot of fun and I want to share it with you!

finally my Fusion set 2023 is here.
This Festival is very dear to my heart. I have been playing there since almost 20 years and it’s a space where I feel a special artistic freedom.
The political background of the festival reflects back into my set and inspires me over and over to new musical journeys.
This set flies from 85-170 BPM and across genres and messages.
My gratitude goes out to Fusion festival, to the amazing crowd, to all artists who provide me with inspiration and music.

PIEDRAS MUISCAS! The first single off my debut album Camino del Bosque is out now!

This is a signature track that has a lot of depth and meaning behind it, inspired by the Andes mountains around Bogotá where I lived for a chapter. Los “cerros orientales” hold a special vibration, home to the majestic páramo environment and the Muisca ancestors.

This song is a remembrance of a special place I would go often to connect deeper with the mountain, feel its power and offer a song or two in return.

“Piedras Muiscas” is a prayer that reminds us of a vibrant natural environment high above the city, where the medicine runs deep and the ancient stones speak.

Let this song be an offering to the earthly citadel we call home and the start of this musical journey along El Camino del Bosque.

Dear Listeners, 
It’s been overwhelming how many of you have written and asked for this year’s Fusion set.  One person even counted the weight of the tears he had shed every time he came here, and found the set was not online yet. So why did it take so long? 
 
It was a very intense four hour set at the Palapa, and it was a very intense week before that. To go back and revisit those moments required quite a bit of strength, which I didn’t have until now. Obviously the intensity of revisiting those moments at the Palapa had a lot to do with the death of our dear friend Bas Engels. 
You might think that I'm loco for saying this, but I know Bas was there with us, celebrating life and death, guiding me through the set and even creating some magic, when my computer froze and I had to restart it, while improvising on a drum machine. Normally the recording would be lost then, but this time it was just there as if nothing had happened. Without him you wouldn’t be able to listen to this now. 
I want to thank Bas for the special magic he created on so many occasions.  Also I want to thank Eule and his team for their foresight and faith to pull me slightly out of my comfort zone, and into this perfect Sunday morning setting. And, of course, I also want to thank all of you, because 
music sounds better with you.
